I know it must be frustrating but gather as much documentation as you can to prove your relationship is genuine and true. You may email them first to know what they want.

sad coz I'm not really sure when I can have my visa, its one month and 5 days already that I became DM, I did all the requirements even the add'l docs and remed, just waiting my visa and seems I'm far from reality to have my visa, its hanging...I lost my excitement coz its beyond my estimated time and now I felt no more excitement the way they keeping my visa after my DM stat last sept..... only god knows...how I wish it will be fair and honest :'(

my husband is a Canadian, we have a lots of pictures for 3x he visited me yearly, the remittance, maybe your way of communication Mrs. v, like the e-mail at least 2 e.mails per month, the chats at least two days in a month, I'm a bookkeeper of my hubby because I kept all the receipts from the start , good that I'm good in computer because since we started, I saved our chats through my USB, I did all the documents, he's the one who printed all the pictures, I was using yahoo messenger before, then later it depends which is better connections if Facebook or yahoo until the time we submitted our documents, aside from internet, I also sent some cards for any occasion for my hubby... he also does until now... my hubby was here last July, hehhehe coz I thought that we can possibly together though still we keep praying one day I can be with him, gods time..

yes you submit that, that's very very important if how he's helping you, its OK not so big as long he's always there helping you..then pray always, i lose my excitement but I keep praying one day I can be with hubby, OK try to arrange that and submit.. god bless...

please help po about this i dont know what to do po. i got s mail from embassy stating:


Subsection 12(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act states that a foreign national may be selected as a member of the family class on the basis of their relationship as the spouse, common-law partner, child, parent or other prescribed family member of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

Section 4 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations establishes that a foreign national “shall not be considered a spouse, a common-law partner, a conjugal partner or an adopted child of a person if the marriage, common-law partnership, conjugal partnership or adoption is not genuine and was entered into primarily for the purpose of acquiring any status or privilege under the Act.”

Due to the limited documentation/information you provided with your application, the information available is insufficient information to conclude that you are in a bona fide relationship with your sponsor and that you are not excluded from the family class pursuant to section 4 of the Regulations.

Para sa akin you have to submit documents as many as you can that you think can prove their initial findings wrong. Any document na sa tingin mo magpapalakas ng case mo. If you are submitting more pictures, make sure lagyan mo ng story, anong okasyon, date, with whom kung meron ibang kasama sa pic para mas maintindihan nila yung situation. Importante ang dates kasi don nila malalaman kung ilang beses ka binisita o dinalaw during the courtship/sweethearts. Submit mo rin mga chat nyo, email, phone bills, remittances, airfare tickets, etc. Magpagawa ka rin ng letter sa friends and family mo na alam nilang genuine ang relationship nyo. Ilagay nila details kung paano nila nasabi na genuine. Ilagay din nila na puede sila kontakin ng cic kung kinakailangan. So dapat may addresss, phone number or email address.

Dont worry, if the relationship is genuine, makikita nila yan sa mga isusubmit mong additional documents.

kami po September 2013 applicant untiol now inprocess pa din July pa kinuha ung passport namin nakaka walang gana na tumingin ng ecas

Mas maganda nasa harap din ang description para di sila mahirapan intindihin while looking at the pic. Idikit mo sa bond paper yung pic then below yung description.

hi Lisa , yes spouse, hubby is canadian, we submitted last year, actually that's end of the month of august 2013 then the cic received sept. first week, I think that was sept. 3, 2013, then they forwarded to manila right after, Oct. 2-4 CEM received our documents...until June 2, 2014 I became ppr, June 25 in process & add'l documents, mid of August 2014 remed. sept. 25 DM ...now visa waiting as my representative said not to worry cause I'm waiting for that visa but its been a month plus now... still keep hoping for one day we reunited to hubby although I'm so not much now excited as before seems its far from reality to have a visa kasi too long since I became a DM ..but in gods time, I keep praying
