Hi sa lahat. :) i'm new here. Pwede niyo ba ibigay yung link or at least ituro sa akin mga meaning ng mga abreviations sa thread. Ano yung AoR? PPR? Etc. Yung wife ko ang nasa canada. She submitted our application ng Oct 31 2013, tapos nag email ng positive recommendation dated Nov 21, 2013. Ano na sunod na process mag aabang na lang? Thanks in advance. :)

PPr passport request yata...Aor d ko alam..halos same lng tayu ng timeline..oct 2 nman nareceived oct 18 me naaprove..sna mabilis lng

Maghihintay ka nlng ng ppr(passport request) mga 4 to 6mos lng.. then wait ka nlang sa ecas(dito mo che check online yung status ng application mo) ng dm(decision made) AoR ung narereceive before sponsorship approval (SA)

Hi sis. Sa case ko PR din ako, iniisponsor ko hubby, andito ako ngaun pinas with him since July 2013. I'm going to celebrate Christmas and New Year here. Nagworry din ako nun kasi hindi ko alam kung dapat ba ako umuwi or hindi so just to be safe and just to make sure, I called CIC before ako nagbook ng flight, buti nalang mabait ung nakausap ko kasi dami ko tanung hehe...inexplain nya sakin na as long as nameet mo yung Permanent Residency obligation ay ok lang na magstay ka outside Canada for up to 3 years un ay kung nakakompleto ka ng 2 years physically inside Canada within 5year period, sabi ko sa representative mahigit 2 years na ako nakatira dun so un ok lang daw ako lumabas.

TAKE NOTE: Kapag inland naman ung pinili nyo processing sis, un ung bawal ka umalis,you must be inside Canada habang pinoprocess sponsorship ng family mo, ung sakin naman outland processing....pwede mo tawagan ang CIC jan, ako kasi limang beses tumawag sa CIC, 3 out 5 ang nagexplain sakin na ok lang, ung dalwa ko naman nakausap super taray at sabi hindi daw pwede but since naintindihan ko naman mabuti ung explanation ng tatlo kaya nagpatuloy ako umuwi dito Pinas. Correct ko lang po ha..even if u r a permanent res u can still go home to Phils as long as its not more than 2mos.
