you have to wait according to their processing times here's the site http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp as of now they are working application started on nov.29 the average time is 46 days but you can have it less than that coz i got mine in just 27 days and you cannot log-in until they open your file try to log in after 30days. then after you got approved thats the only time you receive the letter of acknowledgement that you are eligible to sponsor. just be patient

I already copied the site, processing times in manila was 9 months but some get their visa in 3 months and if you are lucky like seanjeane he got his visa in 2 months ;D the first thing to do land first get job and go back home marry your girlfriend then gather all the requirements. i know how you feel coz ive been there i just got here last july 2009 and i went back home last july got married in august and send the application october27 got approved nov23 passport request jan4 and look at me now waiting for my husband i hope we got it soon ;D

im just wondering kung san mo po nakuha yung documents checklist mo ng manila? baka kasi old version na yung nakuha mo eh kasama talaga sya sa list kung babasahin mo nakalagay CENOMAR yata yon or yung advisory of marriage.

PLEASE HELP!!!

I was hoping for someone to advised me of my husband's application. I sent in my Application on November 16 and when I checked e-cas it says that they've sent me a letter on Dec 20 and I received the letter of approval as well. So now we are just waiting for the results in manila visa office.

Also, my husband went to Singapore for a 2 week vacation to spend xmas/new year with his family and just got back in Manila yesterday, and one of the neighbours where he lived mentioned that there was a carrier who came this past week and she said it seems like something for him (she really did not specify what it was), but since he was not there to receive it do you know the carrier will come back sooner like next week to deliver whatever package it is (I'm really hoping that its his aor and ppr). Or do we have to call the manila visa office if they have send it? or wait til we get it..... I'm nervous that if we don't get the letter right away his application might get delayed. I'm hoping that its not something that requires more documentation. I'm just wondering if they did send a letter shouldn't they update his status on e-cas too? it still says 'not available' on his pr status.

welcome mjlara, so bale address ng co. mo ang nilagay mo imbes na sa house address? try mo tumawag sa embassy para magawan agad ng paraan para hindi ma send sa mailing address na nilagay mo.

Yeah ang nilagay na mailing address ko don address sa office ..so gusto ko ichange to my current address, our new home.So pwede ba tumawag sa embassy Manila, kahit na di pa approve ang sponsorship ng hubby ko? or email kaya pwede ba 'yon?

Hi star1384! i think we have the same timeline..i sent my husband's application nov.18 and got the letter of approval dec.22. my husband is not receiving any letter yet from the embassy,but just to be sure he can ask his neighbors what courier is it so he can call and ask if its something from the embassy.im sure the courier can verify if there's a letter addressed to him. I hope my suggestion helps..

yup!sa manila din!so recently mo lng pla nareceive ung letter from mississauga..i dont think from embassy ung letter na galing sa courier.yung sa min kc dec.22 ko p nareceive na naforward na nla sa manila yung papers.so it means na mauuna p yung sa min before yung sa hubby mo..pero sana nga this coming week may response na dumating sa knla from embassy..lets just pray for that..

yup!sa manila din!so recently mo lng pla nareceive ung letter from mississauga..i dont think from embassy ung letter na galing sa courier.yung sa min kc dec.22 ko p nareceive na naforward na nla sa manila yung papers.so it means na mauuna p yung sa min before yung sa hubby mo..pero sana nga this coming week may response na dumating sa knla from embassy..lets just pray for that..

yep been waiting for the letter since last month pa and since it's holidays mga opisina close at malayo lung lugar ko kasi sa nunavut pa po ako so yun lalo siguro na delay. Sana naman makuha na nang asawa mo para yung husband ko next hehe...

I hope that we don't have to wait til summer for their visa to come. may possibilidad ba na makukuha nila visa nila by april or may?

kung registered naman po pwede naman na check nya sa post office kung wala tao babalik at babalik naman siguro sila and dont worry kasi dec 20 ka palang naman na approved ako nov23 dec17 yung ppr letter ng asawa ko na receive lang nung jan 4 so naipit sa manila ikaw malamang wala pa naman cguro pero papuntahin mo din hubby mo sa post office nila. kasi pag na aaproved ka mga 14days nila natatanggap tas after a week or 2 weeks my ppr na like un saken nov 23 ako naapprved na received nila sa manila ng dec 14 tas yung letter dec 17 tapos sa manila post office naipit na deliver lang ng cavite ng january 4 by then nag iwan n ang asawa ko ng contact no. kasi expect na namen na meron darating kaya tnxt nalang sya pag bukas ng box galing manila un agad ang hinanap good thing mabait yung sa post office kaya umagang umaga tnxt sya at pinuntahan nya. kung dec20 ka lang naaproved bilang ka ng mga 15 days kung palagay na naten na nasa manila pa yun ngayon sasagot palang ang embassy tas saka palang ipapadala sa hubby mo kasi ako binibase ko sa mga nakaka receive mga 14 days e nasa manila na, kaya sakto naman expect date namen hehe..relax lang san na ba hubby mo nasa pinas na ba? and be ready nga pala kasi galing sya ng ibang bansa pwedeng hingan sya ng police clearance from singapore kung d pa sya nakakauwi pahingen mo na dun kasi kung ipapasa nya pasport nya makikita sa passport nya na galing sya ng ibang bansa kasali kasi yun sa background check nya eh. pahingen mo na sya para d ma delay yun kasi nag papatagal kung minsan but kung naka more than 6 months sya dun pero kung hindi ok lang. pero kung madali ikuha dun pakuhanan mo na din just incase lang.
