Great news!!! My husband got his visa!!! No interview needed! 14.5 long months of waiting!!!

Here's a question though...
In the letter it reads "Before leaving for Canada, further instructions will be given..."
What does this mean? Do we still have to wait for another letter in the mail, or are we getting a phone call? Or can he just go to the airport, and that will all be settled then?

We just want to buy the tickets NOW!!!!

Sis! Ask ko lang, mag du-dual citizen ka? I mean Philippine at Canadian? Kase binanggit yan sa seminar, pwede daw!

Oo sis I will pero matagal pa yun kasi bago pa maging or makapag apply ng Canadian Citizen kailangan muna na present tayo sa Canada nabasa ko sa CIC website ng 1,095 days at pwede na mag apply na Citizenship so dito muna tayo sa PR status

Residence in Canada

To become Canadian citizens, adults must have resided in Canada for at least three years (1,095 days) in the past four years before applying.

If you have passport and COPR, then all you need is CEM seminar to leave the country. It's different seminar for spouses of Canadian citizens and PRs.

Sorry I got that wrong... It's CFO and not CEM. They have office in cebu and manila only and it's first come first serve.

salamat po sa reply. gaano po katagal ang mga nag antay ng visa po? case to case basis po ba meron po ba dito nag ka visa ng 3months lang nag antay? thank you po.

11 months na po pala ang processing para sa mga spouse. akala ko 6-9months lang.

oo nga po eh. yung iba daw po mabilis ma process case to case basis po ata. pero sana mabilis lang process ng papers natin.
