hello everyone!

These are my questions:

1) ask lang ako regarding sa Quebec Selection Certificate since my sponsor is living in quebec do we need to submit the sponsorship application forms together with the Quebec Selection Certificate?

2) I put a correction liquid (White out) on one of my applications will it be a problem?

submit first the sponsorship application to misssuaga then once u approved as sponsor the cic will send u a letter that u or ur sponsor are qualify to go another stage which is the csq which one of the requirement is the letter from cic that ur approved maybe u get it by email or post mail that u need to attached it if applying for csq from micc.. and then once u apporved again they send u a letter in ur sponsor address and to the cic automatically that its ready transfer to ur respective vo ..there is a question asking if u have already a csq maybe u can put no on that and make handwritten that u need sponsorship appoval first

Hi, My flight is this Sunday. Kailangan ba nagawa ko na yung list ng mga items na dala ko, or pwedeng sa plane ko na gawin? Mostly clothes lang naman ang dala ko at gamit ng anak ko.

I have not packed yet. Ganun pala yun. I'm happy that finally, my baby and I will be with my hubby but I'm still leaving with a heavy heart knowing that I'm leaving my parents behind.

Hello to everyone, (new here).
Please enlighten me.

We just passed our Additional Requirements, including our Passports last January, 2012.

And upon checking on E-CAS, our papers are already IN PROCESS.
They started processing our application last January 20, 2012.


We have not yet undergone any medical tests.
Do you have any idea why? Or we just have to wait for the medical request?

Hi kismet23... glad to hear you and your baby will be re-united with your husband and your little family will be complete finally. Based on my experience with my first trip to Canada year 2008, you don't need to be very particular with the items you will declare when you board lalo na kung clothes mostly lang, besides the form will be given to you pag nasa loob ka na. My only advice is for you and your baby to wear a comfortable clothes and shoes, remember its almost around 12 to 14 hours flight (if you are taking a direct flight), and will be somewhat a long walk around Vancouver airport, just don't forget on your hand carry a jacket w/ hood or coat, para prepare kayo sa lamig pag labas nyo.

BTW, I also have a baby (2 year old chubby little girl) that I am still waiting for her Citizenship Certificate, still on process mayl arrived on April or May of this year. I just want to ask if you were able to get a passport to your baby? or is she below 2 years old?

For now you will have to wait until they send you a medical test requests. If you are applying thru Family sponsorship - medical must be taken and attached to your application, if you are applying thru FSW-Federal Skilled worker stream- medical tests will be requested after you submit your application.

Hi, thanks for your reply! MALamang overbaggage na kami. Ang dami din palang gamit na kelangan dalhin.
Thank u for your reminder, our flight is 18 hrs plus 6 hrs na stop over sa Korea. Mababait sa Korean air, lahat ng nirequest ko ok, by the way 5 mos lang ang baby boy ko. Toronto bound ako. I just hope maluwag din sila sa baggage. *fingers crossed*

I have his limited validity passport. Meron na din syang ctizenship card na halos kasabay ng passport dumating.

I suggest if may visa ka na, ipaexpedite mo yung card nya at passport. Just show a paid air ticket plus all the other requirements ng pagkuha ng passport. Letter lang ginawa ko to expalin my situation. Naprocess agad yung passport in 3 weeks. Yung card na process in 3 months. Medyo nagtagal lang kasi , nirequest ulit yung delivery records and check-up history ko sa OB kahit nakita na nila , 2 weeks after ng application ko ng card nya.

Thanks sis, late registration kasi birth certificate ng baby ko kasi pabalik balik yun BC niya from here to her Dad sa Edmonton, kasi we're not married yet nung nag ka baby kami, kaya need pa to execute affidavit of Paternity. Anyways bring ka na lang extra cash in case ma over baggage ka, mahal nga lang as I remember. Nag apply ako ng citizenship application niya July 2011 pa, up to now on process pa rin sa e-cas, though my UCI# na siya. I will write them a letter just like what you did... kasi puro e-mail lang ako sa kanila.

i just noticed on LBC website that my wife's passport was delivered to the address of CEM but says it was handed over to the Security Guard NESTOR TUBALLA, is this normal for them to hand it to only a security guard and not a real direct person of CEM and does it mean that its at the right department?

yes, normally their SGs are the receiver of our docs in CEM. most of us here, our docs, were handed by SGs. if you are pertaining to VO (real direct person), they're all at 6th floor, they're unseen
