Spouse education documents? And job references? Why?

Hello! I have received my ITA through PNP program and stumbled over a question about spouse education credentials. When I created a new Express Entry profile, I've specified that my spouse had not completed higher education. Actually she had, but we had no intention to get more CRS for it, and did not want to translate the dimplomas nor to order ECA report.
Now while completing further e-APR forms, we had to include her education into the personal history section.
Next, there's another education section - it asks for the years, the name of the high school etc. If I specify there that my spouse has a degree but has no ECA report, it asks me to upload the diplomas. We probably won't be able to get them translated by a certified translator in the 60 days time bracket, again, I do not want them to appear anywhere, as I do not want to claims any point for them.
So, the question is how to fill in forms correctly. How do you think? Is it okay if I mention the studies, but select "None" as a degree/dimploma? Assuming that my wife has got no Canadian credentials and therefore we even cannot know her diplomas equal to something in Canada until we order ECA report?..

Should I contact CIC immediately or will it be enough to describe the situation in the cover letter? Should this be mentioned at all?

Why do they ask to upload spouse's non-Canadian diplomas even without ECA? And why do they ask for non-Canadian spouse's job references?

This would be misrepresentation if you declare that she has got no degree/diploma when in fact she has those.
Are you sure you cannot get her credentials translated in time? In what language are they issued?

I am facing the same situation. I did not claimed any points for my spouses masters degree and work experience and cic is asking for diplomas and job reference letters.

i have the time to provide them with what they are asking for . In your case, if you really do not have the time to translate them i recommend that you upload them without the translation and explained them your situation in the LOE. If you did not claimed any points for her education that should not be a problem. Or at least we hope so.

Good luck.

Thanks for your advice. I wrote them a case specific enquiry, but not sure whether they will reply soon.

Any other opinions are welcome!
