Hi,

My husband is working in Canada under NOC A since June'13 with 2 years LMO, while I am still in India waiting for my OWP. There was 1 refusal for me when he online applied my OWP in July 2013, refusal decision came in Oct'13 and it was mainly because of his Passport and WP both were getting expired in March'14 (On refusal letter it's mentioned "Insufficient evidence as to Spouse's employment in Canada", then we ordered CAIPS notes to know more details). Then based on remainder time of his LMO, he successfully extended his WP on his new passport from inside Canada, and then we have again applied my OWP paper application in Jan'14 through VFS Ahmedabad, but still no updates, no medical request, no additional documents request, no updates at all. Let me know if anyone is on same kind of situation.

yeah dear....my husband is also working in Canada with pg wrk permit....he applied for my open work permit online on feb17,2014....but it got refused on march27...we reapplied with more docs on april19....and waiting hopefully for a miracle to happen...trust in god...u will defntly get it...thanx

My family got their TRVs yesterday from Delhi High Commission. It comes as a big relief and much satisfaction after the unfortunate refusal of my spouse's SOWP the first time.

Sunny, I do not think so as OWP for Spouse is different from TFW program. As OWP is dependent on your spouse's NOC O,A,B level job.
That too moratorium for TFW's is on food services sector only.

i already had one refusal on owp when i applied paper based application from ahmedabad, now i apply online on march 7, i got my medical on 27 march from there no reply from embassy they got my medical its shows passed but i have no clue when they r getting my passport request, so i am waiting for my passport request, my spouse is on post graduation owp in canada.
