Spouse dependent open work permitt from India

Hello,

I applied paper application through VFS hyd for spouse dependent open work permitt 24 days ago.But there is no response from CHC where as my frnds applied through online nd done with the full process in 15 days. Plesae help out whats happening...

They people are taking time to process this as i read in this forum only..

One of the person has got the mail stating that they will process the applications after 7 april.

What your spouse do in Canada?

Did u attach ur medical with application or not.

Not to worry, there is a chance for delay in processing, when did your friend apply?
I applied for SOWP on 27th Jan at VFS Chennai, paper based, still it is under process.
Last week I got a call from CHC for additional document requirements.
There are few members (applied in mid of February) still waiting without any updates.

Hello Rajan,

CHC asked me to submit my marriage photos. I didn't submit them along with my application since spouse name is added in both of our passports and thought it would be sufficient enough along with marriage certificate.

My husband is working as QA Analyst in Canada NOC A catogry i think.

We did not put our medicals in the application, just the supporting docs,original passports.Also we tried for medicals but it need UCI number from the embassy.

Assets from my wife side nothing
presently working in india
spouse Name added in the new passport
bank balance 10lakhs
my parents sponsor letter and assets
$9600 in my RBC account

what are the chances of getting the SOWP. when can i hear from the CANADA high commission newdelhi.

my wife done her medicals in hyderabad before she sent her paper application through vfshyd these medicals are called upfront medicals any one can do the medicals if they want the visa to be stamped without sending the medical request by the visa officer. bottom of the checklist u can find it out.

Hi Rajan nothing as of now still waiting to hear from the high commission.
but my friend wife filed on march 6th they got the medical request.
