Quick question for anyone that can help!

So for Question 5 on the Spouse/Common Law Questionnaire if we select yes (which we are) it says provide written and documentary evidence such as joint bank statement, joint lease, housing finances

HOWEVER, on the check list it says under For Both of you we need the same thing...

So our question is if we include it within the Spouse/Common Law Questionnaire, is that good? Or do we need to include it again somewhere else?

If we do have to include it in the Spouse/Common Law Questionnaire, are we allowed to handwrite the title of the Spouse/Common Law Questionnaire form, the question number of the question we're answering?

Would be a huge help because we're both stumped!

Hi iNick89,

I'll be happy to get the ball rolling for you here!

Typically, you submit 3 separate `packets' within your ginormous envelope, box, crate, that you ultimately mail to CPC-M (the office in Mississauga).

Packet 1 contains all of the sponsor's forms and any related documents (copy of passport identity page, divorce paper [if previously married], Option C printout from CRA, employment letter, etc.

Packet 1 contains all of the applicant's forms and related documents (similar to sponsor's checklist, but without income income information)

Packet 3 contains all of your evidence of common-law: Joint lease, utility bills, cell phone bills, FB chats/messages, emails, photos...ad nauseum.

So, simply check them off of your respective checklists. When answering a question on the forms that asks for this type of information, simply write "Please see our evidence of common-law relationship packet', or something similar.

Good luck!
