Hi there

i just want to say, i was single when i applied for my Canadian study permit, then i got married after submitting file in embassy. as i got visa on 3 August and then i got married on 10 of Aug. i didn't have much time to think about it at that time. Now i have reached in Canada whenever i try to fill any form under govt institution or association should i write married instead of single or remain it as Single. On top of it, Can i sponsor my spouse or Wait till i get Permanent residency. Kindly help me i am new comer to Canada.

nothing is wrong with your case. you may sponsor your wife to visit you in canada.

dont lie in any future application about being single . you were granted visa on 3rd August and you were married on 10th August.

it is very simple and nothing to worry about.

Dont lie with Canadian govt in future while filling up any form or anything.
If you like you could invite your spouse on work permit in canada while you study in canada .good luck
