Hi guys,

Are the approvals for main applicant and spouse done at the same time? Or is it possible for the main to be approved first if there's still something pending for the spouse?

Or at the worst case, is it possible for the main to get approved but the spouse to be disapproved. Thanks.

Both are approved at the same time.

If there is something pending for one spouse (e.g. medical, background check), then IRCC will wait for this to be completed before approval.

It's not possible for the main to be approved and the spouse to be refused. Both are either approved or refused together.
