Ok. thank you for giving more information. Then, with what you are saying: that is puzzling to me. I am curious as to what will perspire in the GCMS notes. Please, do post on here if you don't mind to let me and others who are going through spousal TRV, to help us understand IRCC obscure functioning.

Had you mentioned you would cover travel insurance? That's the next place where my mind goes for the reason for refusal.
Also: they are processing PR applications rather quickly now. Sometimes faster than 10 months. I have reports of people being approved in 2.5 months or 7 to 8 months. Something to keep in mind vs timeline to appeal TRV decision.
Unless you are doing it for Quebec (then, I am sorry). Where it's 36 months right now.

Lawyers:
1) Steven Meurren - always super active on X and has extensive knowledge of TRV appeal process or successful TRV re-application
2) Maxime Lapointe - sued the government for unfair IRCC treatment of spousal pr applications. Dropped case when clients obtained resolution.
3) Michael Di Lullo - very knowledgeable, but sometimes a bit behind on the latest info about processing times, however on what really matters: very very top notch - And most affordable of all 3.

I hope that helps.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
I got GCMS Notes and I do not understand a lot of things mentioned but the only reason is that : The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application. There is no more details.

The refusal is from Abu Dhabi office and I think it is just a ready made refusal statement for anyone

I want to talk to a lawyer and see what are my best option, appeal or not.

Given you are sponsoring stating your spouse will visit for a month doesn’t make sense. TRVs for spouses are not guaranteed. You can try to reapply but you may need to wait for sponsorship approval.

How did you explain to prove that your spouse will return back home after her visit? You mentioned she is unemployed. Did you come up with a strong explanation that she will return home once her purpose of visit is completed?

I put family ties and study. My wife has one year left to complete her engineering degree and she will resume her study in 2026 because she had like one year break.
She is not working which is a weak point but I put a volunteer job instead. I made a letter explaining that I'm responsible of making sure that my wife will leave the country on time.

I want to know if a lawyer can expedite the Sponsorship visa or go for appeal or reapply again for visitor visa but I don't have new information to submit with application as my wife is still not working.

I have already got AOR and Eligibility letter to sponsor. I submitted those letters with the Visitor visa app.

If she isn’t actively studying her studies are not a tie and even if studying would still be considered a weak tie. Not sure how you would justify expedited processing if it was even an option. Going to JR would both be long and expensive and you are probably better off just waiting for sponsorship approval. You can ask for reconsideration by sending in a webform if you feel an error has been made.

Not all refusals can be appealed especially if it's a TRV. Your only option is to reapply for reconsideration. Again nobody can tell what the outcome will be because, it all depends on the officer looking at your file. Visa officer knows for sure once inside Canada most people if not all with a sponsorship AOR will extend their stay with open work permit till they get their PR approved. That's where your one month story actually breaks down. When I applied I curated a 5 month long detailed plan on what we will be doing and so on. Revisit your application and come up with a strong plan on why it should make sense to a visa officer that your spouse only visiting you for a month when you can visit her.

Your TRV was approved right? At the first time you applied it, no refusals in the past?
