Hi everyone.

I'm wondering if anyone has applied for a TRV in the last couple months after receiving AOR for Outland PR Sponsor application?
My wife's TRV application was submitted October 24th. Processing time for Filipinos is average 18 days, but it has been 22 and still stuck on 'Background Verification in progress'.
Her application is supposed to be fast tracked, yet is taking longer than the average (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/apply-visitor-visa.html).
How long was your processing time?

Thanks!

Posted processing times are just estimated averages. All you can do is wait.

I am aware. It is the time it takes to process most complete applications, and is updated weekly. Not sure why you answered this post.
I am curious to what other's TRV wait times are in this situation, as the TRV is supposed to be fast tracked.

They aren’t fast tracked. The policy change was to approve more TRVs for spouses being sponsored when most were previously denied. There is no specific timeline and even no guarantee of approval. It always comes down to the profile. There is a much better chance of approval compared to a few years ago.
