Hi everyone

I recently sent my wife's sponsorship application, and I would like to know what the stages of this process are, considering that I live in Quebec. Should my wife request the Quebec selection certificate (CSQ)? At what stage of the process should she apply for the CSQ?

I’m also from Quebec and sponsoring my wife as well. As far as I know, IRCC will send you a message to get the CSQ and this is the time you do this part with MIDI. This should be around when the sponsor part get approved.

I'm about to resubmit my PR application, returned due to me erroneously sending a T4 for my sponsor instead of a Notice of Assessment or Statement of Income. Can I just print off a Statement of Income online (can't do NoA, as my sponsor just filed her taxes) or do I need to wait for something "official" in the mail?

I’m going to sue Canada immigration. Does anybody know the address for Service? Obviously the officers working at Immagration can’t read ? It said she owns two homes , a car , two motorbikes and the refused the application because she
“ had no assets “ ? The time before she wrote that she was coming for 3 weeks and going to Niagara Falls , Toronto and gananochway. The officer wrote “she never put her reason for coming to Canada or for how long “ does this make sense to anyone ? These people must be hired by putting their name in a hat.

Sounds like you're asking about a TRV application. Recommend you post to the visitors section of the forum.

• 1.After submit the file it takes 2 months to start processing.
  
  2.Asked for Police clearence---2months later.
  
  3.One moth for medical and after that within 1 moth i received pre arrival.
  
  4.One moth more to takes PR & Passport request.
  
  5. After submitting the passport VFS Global took 26 days to give it back.

Does she has online account with CRA. If she has then she can get NOA and Statement of Income from that account.. If she does not has , then she can open one. She will get all the details of her tax files..

I just realized I didn't write All names on imm5406 in my native language.
Hopefully it won't be a reason for rejection and can i just submitted a new form later on?

Hello All,

I am filling up the forms for the spousal application under Family class as my wife stays out of Canada. One of the additional or country specific document that I also have to submit is the "IMM5562 (Supplementary travel information)". As I am the sponsor for my wife, should the travel details of mine (sponsor & spouse) also be filled in that application?

As I was browsing the internet, i find a difference of opinion in some of the forums. It would be very helpful if anyone can guide me who has already filled the application and was successfully received their AOR.

It needs to be filled up as it asks for principal applicant, dependents and spouse(sponsor). One of my friend got an AOR and he suggested me to fill that up. The only confusion I have is if the trip form Canada to India needs to be shown or not as Canada happens to be my country of residence and India as my country of origin. The form clearly says "List all your trips taken outside your country of origin or of residence in last 10 years.

Hello All,

I am a May applicant. Recently, the immigration requested us for 2 documents. One of the docs were already submitted before and the other was sent last Friday by our representative. How long would we need to wait to hear from the immigration next? We are still waiting to hear that my spouse is eligible to sponsor me.

What docs were requested? Normally if they were sent in the given time frame then you will hear from them soon. If not then it might take time .

Last Thursday I got accepted to Sponsor my spouse, she got an email saying she was found eligible. Then Friday we got an email saying they are completed and we need to go meet them once they send us an invite ( still waiting for this) However the web page has not been updated to reflect any of these emails. Also all these emails didn't show up like they usually do in the website, is this normal?

Then you would get it within 60 business days minus the days already spent after they receive ur application.
Just to let you know that these were the basic supporting documents for a SPONSOR. I wonder how ur agent forgot about it?
Btw what are the supporting documents that you submitted in your application as a whole? I have sent my documents for signing. Once i get them i will submit my application. I am applying by myself.

I had the same question in my mind. Anyways, what is done, is done and for now, we are hoping to hear back from the IRCC soon.
