Quebec Applications Estimated at 24 Months?

Yeah, I saw this indeed. In our case, it's just 6 days between pre-arrival and PPR. COPR numbers didn't appear until after I got PPR.

    Eye colour and height

We got the appendix with eye color and height when we got ours. It's from Manila VO.

In an application of 5 family sponsorship, IRCC requested for the five family members passports, but 3 passports were affixed with immigrants visas

Correct, there should be 5 COPR. When we got approved and submitted passports, we received 2 COPRs (1 for the wife and 1 for the daughter).

Especially when some get PR in a lot less time than the average while others are waiting for so long for no reason.

    passport expired

This text means to have regular passports, not special ones for diplomats, government officials, military or other special passports which are only used for their intended purpose and not for immigration. armored is right, I see it is not for a family sponsorship application because this one...

MARRIED IN CANADA, NOT REGISTERED IN THE PHILIPPINES, GOT DIVORCE, CAN I REMARRY?

I backtracked and I saw what I kinda knew would happen if they learned you are in the process of divorce while not having any marriage registered in PSA. It's complicated indeed and with the famous Filipino bureaucracy, it would take a long time.

MARRIED IN CANADA, NOT REGISTERED IN THE PHILIPPINES, GOT DIVORCE, CAN I REMARRY?

@Kaibigan My expertise doesn't apply here because it was me who is divorced as a foreigner so there is no PSA, which is normal. When I filled and signed the affidavit, I showed the divorce certificate to the local public notary, which was fine. My wife was married previously but her husband died...

    Withdrawal of Spousal Sponsorship Application

This rings a lot for me as it is similar. Just get the divorce done and move on. IRCC and CBSA won't do much about it, unfortunately. Also, don't be surprised if you get hit with alimony despite her status in Canada and it can be costly.

The COPR document is for Canada Immigration (you need to stop there to do the landing interview and present the COPR so they can complete the process and start the PR Card process). The visa in your passport is the one to show at check-in to allow you to board the flight and to let you enter Canada.

Quebec Applications Estimated at 24 Months?

Congratulations, I knew it wouldn't take long. In our case, since my wife's country requires a visa to enter, we need to send passports to the VFS for the counterfoil and they send them back with the COPY papers.

Avoid the USA at all costs as it requires a visa even for transit. The best option is to fly either directly with PAL or via Taipei, Seoul, Singapore or Tokyo which all have flights straight to Canada. Use Air Canada and search for flights, it's has 80% of flighs which avoid the USA. In our...
