Regarding above issue: I had applied for my wife's spouse visa but she didn't come to canada after the visa was issued

If you are sure she didn't land, you are free to sponsor someone else. Expect a higher level of scrutiny.

Returned in January 2018 because of missing document
New application received Feb 2, 2018
Medical request March 20, 2018 (medical passed updated in online account)
PCC/Schedule A request March 2018 (uploaded)
Sponsorship approval April 2018

Anyone any idea what is the next step and how long till PR. And also as spouse is from India, they automatically send file to NDVO? because nothing mentioned in sponsorship approval letter as to where is file transferred.

I had submitted my ind pcc and usa pcc with the rest of documents. After medicals they asked me for uae and fbi? Any idea as to where is my application reached. I can’t check online as my application is not linked

I'm really not sure. A Nov 16 applicant got PPR recently so hopefully you should hear something this month. However, the document request may have slowed you down a bit. Nobody can tell for sure.

But you don't need any proof of payment for sponsor class immigrants. Just your passport with the visa and COPR

Inland applicants are not issued a visa, recieve their COOR at their landing interview and must bring proof of RPRF payment.

I dont know if its a coincidence but everytime with the lawyer we ask news to cic after we have an update on our file
