She does have a good travel history and owns a business back home.
cant be too sure about this. I know someone who got their TRV with no ties in the home country. No job, No education, no business, filed an outland application and got the TRV without any issues.

I`m currently back in my home country following a exclusion order of 1 year, we want to apply for the outland sponsorship and my exclusion ends in 6 months, do i need to include an application for an ARC with my sponsorship application or will they tell me later if i need one? I know i don't necessarily need an ARC after my exclusion period is up but i don't know when my sponsorship will be finished processing. Any help is very much appreciated.

what country are you from? most visa offices are approving people in 6-10 months, so depending on where you're from you may want to consider holding off on applying until it either gets closer to or after your exclusion order expires.

I`m from the Netherlands, i don't mind paying for the ARC if that is what it takes. But i would like to know if i have to include the application for it in my sponsorship application or that they will let me know if i need one and i just pay the fee later on.

they will let you know later on in the process. i would recommend not submitting it upfront. let them tell you they want you to pay for it.

Thanks, i guess i will just send in my sponsorship application and see how it goes, you are probably right that waiting a bit would have been better but i miss my family a lot and the faster i can get through this process the better.

Hello,

please help

I am trying to validate the IMM 5669 E : Schedule A - Background / Declaration form but It's showing an error that the given name field is empty. My wife has first name only on the passport , As per the instruction i fill the given name in the Family name field and leave the given name field empty.
i filled all the other form without any issue. I am using the 2017 forms (latest)

any suggestions please

thanks
If your wife only has given (first name) names , put all the given names in the family(last name) name field and leave the given name field blank or type NA.

If you apply now, they will request the ARC and stop processing the app until the ARC is done. Save the $400 and wait until the Exclusion Order is up to apply.

I read that the ARC would be dealt with within the context of the sponsorship application, so would it really add months to the processing time or is it just the money i have to cough up? The $400 isn't really an issue if i can get my app going now.

"Dealt with within the context" basically just means that you don't need to submit a separate application for it. The ARC will add almost certainly add months to the processing time and IRCC will not continue to process your PR app in the meantime. You really are just better off serving the Exclusion Order and applying after.

You are visa-exempt but got an exclusion order for overstaying? Ouch, how did that happen may I ask?

Hey Folks,

We're starting the paperwork...and encountering many agonizing disparities and questions.

Here's one of the first. Question #8 of form IMMM0008 asks me (the sponsored husband) to provide my "Place of Birth" and specifies that they want it in the form of "City/Town."

I was born in the town of "Stuart" but my passport (which I imagine they'll be comparing this against) for some reason lists my place of birth by state. It just says "FLORIDA, U.S.A."

Should I just write the word "Stuart" for question 8, or would it be wiser to ignore the City/Town recommendation and write "Florida," or should I try to split the difference by answering "Stuart, FLORIDA"?

Many thanks for your help,
AB

That doesn't matter at all. Just put what the form asks for.

You find that to be an "agonizing disparity"? It's pretty simple; just put what the question asks for.
