you as the sponsor do not submit medical. if your daughter is a canadian citizen or PR, then she does not either. if she is not a canadian citizen or pr, then she needs to be added to the application as a dependant seeking pr status and submit a medical.daphnemarie said:Hi all,
I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer to.
Sponsoring my husband from outside of country, he is American. Our 3 month old daughter and I live in Canada.
Do we all need to submit physicals with the initial application? Or just him? Or can we wait?
Thank you!
note the terms "family members" and "spouse" found in the applicant forms do NOT refer to the sponsor spouse. these are standard forms for all streams of immigration, therefore these terms are only referring to "family members" or a "spouse" that is seeking PR status in the application (ie: a married couple applying together or a dependant child who is not a canadian citizen or pr). For application purposes you are ONLY considered the "sponsor".
