For city of birth, my husbands city of birth worked as New Jersey rather than the actual city. Just a heads up, it can be entered as anything.

Hi there! Same here - medicals passed and background checks are 'In Progress' - just need to pay my RPRF, which I completely had forgotten about. Hoping it will be quick from here!

I'm in the same boat as Ottawaguy in regards to medicals. As for linking, my husband is fr. The US and I tried linking our application for weeks, and finally got it to work by putting his state of birth rather than city as indicated. That may help if anyone is in the same boat as we were.

Hey! I checked ECAS yesterday and my husbands (person being sponsored) says his application is being processed as of Oct. 28, so I assume that's my AOR2 despite not having received an actual email.

Also have a question concerning medical. I haven't been able to link anything yet - so I can't see a status but we got medicals done before sending out the package. We only sent the receipt stating it had been done from the panel physicians office - didn't send in IMM1017b - is this something...

I hear they are generally pretty quick. I know someone who went through it in February of last year and received landing papers within six weeks from the time of receipt of application

I suppose so! I was very surprised to get the email this afternoon. Ottawa? I'm from Ottawa, too! Sponsoring American. We still have yet to be able to link applications.

What exactly did you use to look link your accr?

My app was received Sept 19, and I'm not able to pull anything up on the CIC website yet - tried checking application status with payment receipt number and trying to link accounts. Does this make sense? Just away on vacation for a bit and paranoid that something will not begin processing if...

Application was received in Mississauga signed by Mahmoud on September 19th! Reading that it took around 10 days for people to receive their AOR's to attempt to link their profiles.. keep me posted on your progress, everyone! My husband is applying from the United States.
