Can someone please explain to me the terms used in the Sydney spreadsheet, including the stage names and acronyms. For example my application was received by the CIC in Mississauga on November 3 2014 and I received notification of sponsor approval on 28 January 2015. They have 'supposedly' sent this for processing to the Sydney office.
Do I insert any of this information into the Sydney spreadsheet now or do I need to wait for communications from Sydney as to approval of another stage?

I have posted this question in the Sydney thread but no one has replied with an answer.

I hope it helps a little:

Thanks but not really.......there are two stages for AOR in the Sydney spreadsheet. Not sure what the stages mean - here is the link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gINNzqkPLZwlNC1lWdQ2xk_Rz4JkD_5vFCxEKcJREnU/edit#gid=0

Some people get AOR from Mississauga, before they get their sponsor approval. If you got that, you would put it in the Stage 1 AOR column. Otherwise, you would just fill out the Sponsor Approval column. Stage 2 AOR is when Sydney sends you a letter saying that they have received your application.

You can fill in the App Rec'd column, November 3rd, 2014. Stage one approval: January 28, 2015. Leave the rest blank for now.

Hi guys im so confused and down with this process its been three months since my husbands interview and we have not heard anything (not even medicals received just in process) the time line for Ankara VO has gone down from 14 months to 10 (we are in the 13 month ) last week i sent them email regarding our case and they replied shortly they will make their decision .... i guess my question is from your experiences does it normally take this long for a decision to be made after interview?

You'd be better off posting your question to the Ankara thread.

Brilliant - thanks ;D

Its so depressing the wait periods just keep getting longer each time I look at the CIC processing times.
Not a very constructive post I know but its painful but do the wait times ever get shorter?
And what affects the wait period?

Australia is currently 90 days (working on applications submitted on the 10th November 2015 and 14 months at the Sydney, Australia office.
:'( :'( :'(

What's the first thing the officer need to see when he/she open my package?
The documents checklist or the barcodes?

Query on making my Dependents as "Accompanying

Hello!

I have applied under the FSW1 category (in July 2014) and have a query on making my Dependents as "Accompanying" - At the time of filing, I had made my 2 dependents are "Non-Accompanying", however now I need to make them as "Accompanying Dependents" - can anyone share any inputs around if that is possible at this stage or not? Having said that, we have already completed Medicals for all 3 of us and have had the 3rd line updated as well. Presently, we are still waiting for the final hurdle of FBI PCC which will take another couple of months.

I read it somewhere that if the application is before "Decision Made" stage, Dependents can be added, not sure if I can make them accompanying as well at this stage. If Yes, can someone pls guide me in the right direction and the steps involved as part of it. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Two quick questions:

How long have you had your PR?

How long have you been married?

Need To ask as my husband applied for my sponsorship application.. He was in India from dec to 2 feb.. If my interview comes, does it is necessary for him to be here with me for the interview as he is doing business alone and he can't come because everything he is looking alone in Canada. Please tell me it will be fine for the immigration if I go for interview alone? Or he need to come?

Hello .. Immigration changing processing time it shows 16 months now.. And when we applied it was 13 months .. So this change in processing time is also for previous applicants who applied when it was 13 months??
