So my husband and I think we're finally about ready to submit our papers but aren't sure about the medical part of it. Do we seek a certified doctor out ourselves and then submit with the form I have (Appendix C is all it's called) with everything else? Other posts on this forum make it sound like you mail everything in but the exam results, and get papers later to see a doc. I'm not sure so I wanted to check on what I need to do here!

The Medical aspect can be confusing but all you have to do is make an appointment with a Panel Physician. You can choose any doctor you choose. It is best to go to the one closest to you. Use this link to find the best one for you. http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx.

After you have gone to the Medical Appointment, they will give you a form. It is an e-medical Information Sheet with a barcode in the top right hand corner. You then submit this form as proof that you have completed the Medical. The barcode at the top of the page will help CIC to link your medical with your application once it is received by CIC. Our Medical has been linked with our application so I know that this works.
By the way, we have chosen to do the Outland Application.
On the document checklist, it says that proof of medical is required before it is submitted. By submitting the medical with your application it will reduce your wait time which is something everyone wants.
I have also emailed the doctor I choose and asked about Appendix C and they informed me that I did not need that so I did NOT fill it out. I suggest that once you make your appointment, ask the doctor you choose what is needed to bring to the appointment with you.

Hi everyone

i AM POSTING IT FOR THIRD TIME , PLEASE HELP ME OUT.....

I am an Indian, i filled up forms for spouse visa and sent to my husband who is in Canada, but in forms - IMM5669 and IMM5490, bit of information is required to be changed that is only one address. I want to know do i need to fill all the forms all over again and send or he can just fill those 2 pages in Canada and get its print out?

My spouse PPR in March 2013 since then the PP is with NDVO. Recently i got GCMS by which i came to know that it is kept for interview.
Last month i visited India for a short trip to see my spouse which resulted in pregnancy. Still she is waiting for an interview call so I am very much
worried that in case if she do not get visa with in another six months what will be the consequences because she cannot travel after six months of

I'm sorry but I am visa-exempt for Canada, so I never received a PPR. Someone else on here will be sure to be able to help you.

I would recommend consulting with an immigration expert; search iccrc on Internet
Our son is sponsoring his wife from Philippines. His consultant has been very helpful
There is a lot of paper work and lots of nuances of completing answers to questions. We helped our son and daughter-in-law put together the paper work and then handed over to registered consultant and she completed all forms. He has been approved as sponsor, now file is in Manila.

Good news. My wife got a passport request. Following are our timelines, in case you forgot,

Sent Our application to Mississauga: 28th June 2013
Sponsorship Approval: 27 July 2013
Spouse got passport request: 18 Sept 2013
She sent passport: 20th September (sent to New Delhi embassy as she is in India)

Just wondering how much time will it take now to stamp visa?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

You should probably ask in the New Delhi thread.

I know New Delhi asks for passport at the very beginning of the process, so it sounds like you still have a long wait ahead of you. Posted time is 11 months so sometime around next summer sounds realistic.
