There is no legal prohibition for you to visit your country. Note that if you are on an inland application and are refused re-entry into Canada then you will not be able to meet the statutory requirement that you be living with your sponsor in Canada and your application will be refused. If you are on an outland application it won't matter to the application.

Yes, it can be. You can be interviewed right up to the point they issue the COPR. But the likelihood of such an interview drops dramatically after the MR and RPRF request - they don't ask for those things if there are doubts about other issues that normally lead to an interview.

"The RPRF is refundable if you choose not to use your visa. The fee is refunded without interest",this is what show in end of EAMIL request for RPRF,did mean I got visa?

Usually no, but in some very rare cases, yes.

Hi, Friends, My name is Harpreet Singh. Open Work Visa under VFS Canada In Chandigarh

My query is that I applied for open work permit at VFS Chandigarh on 4 April and today date is 21 June , I haven't get any reply back from immigration. I am really nervous what will happen with my file. It is apparent vfs Chandigarh taking more than 3 months. My wife is working in Canada on work permit and its gonna finish in next year. How long it will take to process and strike can make any bad effect on visas..


Please can anybody help me much appreciate.. :-[

The strike is going to affect everyone sadly. So I think the dates on CIC website will be going up until they go back to work
