My wife's visa? She has until December 2013 to land in Canada but she is arriving on the 15th. The expiry of the COPR is tied with the expiry of the medical.

I'm October 2012 applicants i just got email (PPR) from CEM last May 27, 2013 and they requestin my docs Appendix A and Passport and i sent them all last May 29, 2013. So If they return back my passport it cmes with my visa n stamp ryt. Did your wife attend already the seminar/counselling from CFO?

How did you recieved your passport request, is it through email or residence mail? Because my old yahoo email address was hacked this May, & I already informed the CIC my new gmail email address. It's June now & I'm looking forward to recieve the passport request this week...Weeeeee

Please anyone can help me my wife had social assistance due to job less last time she got the check in FEB 2013, now we are planing to submit our application for the immigration outland and she is living in canada so any one can advice me what we have to do to make sure the eligibility for the sponsorship thanks

Assuming she isn't claiming social assistance now/has a job it won't be a problem.

The wording of the eligibility section (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse-apply-who.asp) says:
You may not be eligible to be a sponsor if you:
receive government financial assistance for reasons other than a disability

By "receive" I read that as "currently receive". If the social assistance claim stopped in February then I don't see any issue. Does your wife now have a job? That's really all they want to know.
