Do i need to certify my marriage certificate. I m sending just a photocopy of thar. Is this fine.
N what address i should write indian or canadian as i am applying outside canada but he lives here.
Plz reply. I need it.

My case a little bit different but let me explain I came to Canada as a Single person and applied for refugee status my application was denied by IRB board member. After a year later. I meet my wife here in Canada we have a baby together. Before IRB was set out IRB hearing we was already married and sent application for inside canada spousal sponsorship application. So after IRB denied refugee claim i applied for judicial review my case was week but i had to fight because my circumstances changed I have a family now so i wanted to stay. Of course judicial review was denied due to the case was very week. But because we have spousal sponsorship application removal order is on hold due first stage was approved. My issue is the past i committed some summary offence in the past. My concern is that they may refuse landing due inadmissibility. My summary offences almost expire under the 5 years waiting period in the parole board. I don't want to apply for suspension. We have submitted a H and C application and also requested under section 25 of IRPA you can ask for relief/exemption from the Act restriction on you-ineligibility for landing due to criminal convictions. But there is no time frame for the approval for the stage of request to stay until they process the H and C application 30 -42 month for the whole application. If will be found inadmissible due past criminality they will deny landing under spousal sponsorship. But I will be eligible soon for PRRA. My question is how can I win more time if the worst would happen? I know PRRA gives some time but not much. We can't apply for appeal under spousal sponsorship because inadmissibility is something that court cant override. I am working I didn't committed any crimes since 2009 that is my last date when I was charged in EU and there is nothing else. Its a little bit weird that they want me to handle as an ex convict I served my time I get back to general population and I find a job I working hard I have a family know. I am not a concern to CIC or I am not a threat to the public or Canada. What can I do what are my options? How can I stay with my family in Canada? My wife she is PR and my daughter is Canadian Citizen i can't leave them behind and they can't come with my due to my country's condition.

Some people don't even do the medical until stage 2 for an inland application, though that does slow it down a bit.

So you'll be fine - don't get the x-ray now and submit it after your baby is born.

I would get the x-ray done after the baby is born. If you wait for CPC-V to request it, you'll add 2-4 months on to the process - remember that the 8 month number is for 80% of applications, so some DO take longer.

If the certificate is originally in english or french, then just a regular photocopy is fine.

If the certificate is in some other language, then you need a certified true copy, and a certified translation.

If you are already living in Canada and applying outland, then you only need to put address in Canada as your current address.

Of course. The border officer may ask to see documents establishing that he intends on leaving. Having a return ticket and a letter from his employer stating he is on a 2-3 week vacation would be very helpful in assuaging any concerns the border officer might have.

okay thank you. So, I'm understanding that he has the 'right' more or less, to visit, but because he has a spouse they may have extra concerns he will overstay? Okay. I just don't want him to spend the money and make vacation plans to get turned back. Nothing is cheap !!

He doesn't have the right to enter Canada (unlike you, the sponsor) - it's a privilege that may be extended to any foreign national. On the other hand, unless the border officer has a specific concern, she or he shouldn't refuse a foreign national. Thus, my suggestion is to provide evidence that the visit is temporary in nature just in case the border officer has concerns in that area. I suspect that with a valid TRV the border officer will stamp his passport and move to the next person.

What's difficult with cases like this is that there is never absolute certainty.

My husband may not be ready to come to Canada for a little longer than planned.
Maybe 6 or 8 months longer or even more. It is because of a work contract, and
he doesn't want to leave at a bad time as he is specialist and they are relying on him
to work until the technical install and major work is done. The project may be expanding
with new contract and take longer to finish.

our sponsorship application is in Stage 2 but not completed, ... maybe finished in 2 months.
but we are worried he cannot come when he receives PR.

Can we put the application on hold for a few months ?

No you can't withdraw. What vo are you going through? And when do the medical expire? You might have 6 more months. Also he can just travel to Canada, land then turn around and go back home easily. Just make sure he has a canadian address to send his pr card to.
