Hi Everyone,

I(Sponsor) applied for my wife on Feb 07,2022

I received AOR on April 21,2022

I linked my account to GCKey and I created both a Sponsor and PA account on PR Tracker.

I have changed my address to a new address and raised webform.

I didn't receive anything after AOR.

I have raised webform on June 24th,2022 regards to application status but no reply from IRCC

I worry a little bit about my wife's application.

Please give anyone advice on this. Thank you

What reason do you have to be worried? You applied in Feb and got AOR in April! Its moving as fast as it should!

I applied sponsership for my wife ( she is in india ) she got passport request, and now we have requested to add child as deppendent bcoz child born 1 week before passport request.
how long it can take to get new passport request for both ?

Yes Its strange that around 30% of applicants prior to oct 2021 are waiting while 2022 applications are getting processed. Does it indicate efficiency of some officers like any other government department ?

Not strange at all. Applications in Ottawa are generally processed within 4/6 months. Ottawa always has been faster. But there are some instances where Ottawa has been slow.

There is no proper system
People are just waiting from so long officer doesn’t have any mercy

Well nobody knows why some applications take longer than usual but you can't do anything but wait. My application is being processed at Ottawa and its already 8 months and can't do anything but wait, this after the fact that most applications at Ottawa are processed within 4/6 months.

Hi Guys, Just wondering who receives the AOR. The sponsor or the applicant? I am sponsoring my wife and i received an email confirming my application to sponsor has been received.

Is this the AOR email or is there another one that the sponsor will receive?
