So here goes.. Apparently when I had my medical results submitted to CIC it showed negative to pregnancy test and had the go signal to be given an MMR Vaccine (mumps, measles and rubella) last February 25. Haven't had my monthly visit this month and to our surprise, I'm pregnant! I know this might be quite alarming considering the danger of MMR administered was within the 1 month time frame. Now, when I checked my husband's ECAS (principal applicant), it showed that decision had been made.

Here are some questions:

a. Do I have to update CIC on current pregnancy?
b. Re: decision has been made, I believe this falls at either interview, approval or rejection, or even request for additional information. What's the time frame for this? My husband already submitted his passport last January. Mine is still with unless they give out request for visa mail.

We are all excited with the pregnancy and with the current status of our application.

I got a text msg from IRCC that they got my family class sponsorship application.
They will email me when they start processing the application.

How long do I have to wait for the processing of the application to start?

New kit apps have a messed up timeline now, so it's really hard to say. But in my case (old kit app), we had the SA after 26 days.

They haven't been really consistent with their ways since transitioning from 'send everything upfront' to 'don't send 'em all yet.' You have to visit the March applicants' thread to track the progress of the apps. New applicants are being requested to upload documents (PCCs and Schedule A) and to undergo medical first before 'File Transfer.'

Typical timeframe from SA to AOR2 would depend on the local Visa Office. For example, my VO (Manila) sent me an AOR2 7 days after the SA. However, some VOs don't sent out the AOR2.

The instruction was actually not to submit it together with the app because you will get a request to upload it on myCIC later on.

You now have to wait whether she will still get a request or not.

when you say "upload it to myCIC".
I'm guessing you mean by i will have to take picture or scan the Police Clearance Certificate/s and upload it?

Hello everyone!
This thread is too long I'm hoping someone can still see my comment here and advise me.

So I have a PR status and I want to sponsor my partner under Family Class Common - Law.
We have been living together since March 2016 (a year now) and we just moved recently and living with my family. We both have our names on the lease and we can provide other evidence of our relationship. I'm currently gathering the forms and documents we need before I submit the application. However, I have few concerns.

He got study permit. He applied for Post Graduate Work Permit when he graduated last year Aug 2016 but somehow we haven't heard anything from immigration yet. Procrastinated, sigh. Basically it's 7 months since and still nothing. I guess he lost hope for that. We dont wanna get married yet and naive and young that we are (both at 23) we were hoping to go through the process of waiting till we are mature enough. His study permit expires this JULY 2017. This is our desperate measure.

Anyways, my questions:
1. Should we send the documents to the center that processes' OUTSIDE or INSIDE Canada?
2. Will we encounter problem with the application considering he has a pending PGWP application?
3. Can he get temporary permit to stay inland?

Hi all, I am planning to apply for Spousal sponsorship, spouse already in Canada.
My question is, Which method is good and fast for Open work permit?
a) If you have not submitted your sponsorship application: Put the sponsorship, permanent residence and open work permit applications into one envelope.
b) If your permanent residence application has not yet received approval in principle: Send your open work permit application to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville (CPC-V), Alberta.
c) If your permanent residence application has been approved in principle: You can apply online or on paper for an open work permit. (CIC Website)

I applied for spousal sponsorship this end of january. They received it around feb 10.. they emailed me SA then its says there wait for schedule A for 5days its been 2weeks since then I haven't receive any emai.

Do not know wts wrong with birth certificate ,,,as far i know it was translated and notarized,,,, anybody has an idea,,,(it was from India)
