I received the e-mail of acknowledgement the day after I saw changes in the MyCIC account (the file number going from the temporary one with the X in front to just one with F). The e-mail came very early on a Saturday morning. My guess is they have those set up to go out on an automated schedule of some sort, so the fact that it's a Saturday isn't that strange.jrseee said:Folks, I just received an email from cic acknowledging the recept of my wife's sponsorship application. On a weekend ?! Our app was received on Nov 30.
Both spouses must meet the medical requirements, and applicants in Express Entry are not exempt from the excessive demand clause. If the wife is inadmissible, then so is the spouse. Neither applicant would get PR in this situation.sam_dawkins said:Question: If someone applies under express entry. and later that person gets married adds his spouse under the same application. Is there any chance that the person's wife might not get PR under excessive health demand inadmissibility?
I aso think that this is a batch processing, sending automated emails over the weekend. Thanks for sharing your storydanawhitaker said:I received the e-mail of acknowledgement the day after I saw changes in the MyCIC account (the file number going from the temporary one with the X in front to just one with F). Hey Sam,Sam8119 said:Hello, can anyone please help me about a situation I have. My wife's (sponsor) passport is going to expire in May, 2017. She is planning to renew it now. Do we have to notify CIC about this? If yes, when ( when applied for new passport or after getting new passport?)? and how should we do it? I am guessing through CSE I can scan and upload pages of passport but should we also send a photocopy by courier?
Thanks
Sam
However, if the applicant marries later after getting PR and sponsors the PR of spouse then the spouse will be exempt from the medical admissibility under excessive demand right?MilesAway said:Both spouses must meet the medical requirements, and applicants in Express Entry are not exempt from the excessive demand clause. 10-4 bud. Sorry I was late . It was worth it .Sam8119 said:Hi Profiler: Thanks a lot again
Sponsors aren't even required to have a passport for this process, so there is no need to update IRCC that she is renewing hers. They won't care.Sam8119 said:Hello, can anyone please help me about a situation I have. My wife's (sponsor) passport is going to expire in May, 2017. She is planning to renew it now. And what's the deficit to not making CIC aware? For example, landing interview for inland applications? Would the ID provided then not be valid?canuck_in_uk said:Sponsors aren't even required to have a passport for this process, so there is no need to update IRCC that she is renewing hers. That is correct.sam_dawkins said:However, if the applicant marries later after getting PR and sponsors the PR of spouse then the spouse will be exempt from the medical admissibility under excessive demand right?
