Hi all, this thread is amaaaaazing! I've lurked so much but never actually posted!

I have a question regarding the "divorce certificate". My Canadian husband was married before me, and we have the divorce judgement. It has the official court stamps and was used when we applied for our marriage license and our daughters passports. Will it be okay for the Outland application? Or do we need to order a divorce certificate? I didn't even know a divorce certificate existed hahaha

So im married for canadian and the only question that makes any sence to me and lets me apply for work permit is:

DO I CLICK Holds a Temporary Resident Permit that is valid for six months or more; at this question??

Are you are a spouse, common-law partner or dependent child of a person who:

Holds a Work Permit for a job in National Occupation Classification O, A, B;
Holds a study permit and is a full-time student at a university, community college, CÉGEP or other authorized educational institution;
Holds a Temporary Resident Permit that is valid for six months or more;
Applied for Permanent Residence to an office in Canada and was determined to be eligible for Permanent Resident status (first stage approval)
Is subject of a removal order that is unenforceable.

60 days after interview but decision is not made yet , File is undergoing Routine Background checks ... What are they ? Before interview I ordered and found that ;

Eligibility : In-progress

Criminality : Passed

Security : _________

Medical : Passes

if before interview these are done , now what background checks are being done ?? Are they Doing Security Checks ?

I submitted my application end of August 2015 and my wife in India just got asked for additional documents (proof of religious wedding and honeymoon) as we had submitted our paperwork after our civil wedding.

She received the request on Thursday and submitted the requisite photos today.

Does anyone know how long the Delhi office takes once they receive additional documents to make a decision? And how long after do they request for passport? Do they take long to stamp the pp?

Try as best you can to meet what they ask for. They must have their reasons as they know the difference. Anytime you can't make sure you include an explanation

Usually the NDVO timeframe is 12-14 months for total process. Sometimes people get everything done within 8-10 months. It all depends on exactly what they are looking for in your file. If they are satisfied they will let you through, if not they will recommend interview.

In this forum, there is a separate thread for New Delhi Applicants 2015. Post your question there so people who are on the same boat can give you more definite answer.

Which VO u r referring to? Cause as far as I know, it all depends on what nationality you are.

its almost been 3 months since my 3rd repeat medical (I've been here since 2012)
It is 3months since my Arc has been approved.
And still no passport request!

Am I over reacting... What could they possibly be doing? Any advice plz.

In process since 2012
I've done 3 medicals over the past years.
most resent medical done Febuary 2016.

My Arc was approved over 3 months ago, but my medical was expired.
That is why I just recently did a new medical.
I've never order notes.

The embassy does not reply to the emails from my lawyer.

Is ur application refused before? Or ru on appeal or after u applied u didnt hear anything from them?!?

Ok. It's been I process since 2012.
Sponsor is approved. I had to do a Arc. Which got approved. I've only ever had to redo the basic medical.
it stated medical received.

The embassy last contacted me in Febuary. Stating my arc is approved, but in oreder to finalize my application I need to update my medical. Next week will reach 3 months since I've redone my medical.
Embassy still hasn't Requested Passport and not responding to lawyers emails on regarding my case.

I guess I'll have to continue to wait it out.

Yes, that's the correct address for sending through Canada Post.
This is where you start: There are detailed guides in this application package. It will tell you all of the requirements. Be sure to also read the country specific guide for where your husband is from, which is also in the application package. He will need a medical exam and police clearances from each country that he has lived 6+ months in.
