Hi There

My wife and i have decided we would like to move to Canada next year. Shes Canadian and we are in the process of trying to fill in and apply for a spousal visa.
I need some help, where do i find the instruction guide spoken about in the sponsorship forms for spousal visa?

Also when it comes to filling out the sponsorship evaluation forms, she would be required to give her monthly earnings. She is currently working part time here in South Africa and is earning next to nothing if converted into $, how do we get around this sponsorship financial evaluation forms? I work freelance and my income is seasonal.

Thank you for your help.

South Africa's processing time is posted at 25 months plus the 2 months needed for sponsorship approval so approx. 27 months tho some cases are finished faster, when preparing things you should always expect the longest times just in case. There is no income requirements for spousal sponsorship tho she should included that she is working there they can not deny her on the grounds of what she makes. When the sponsor is out of Canada when filing the application she should include a settlement plan proving your intent to move to Canada once the process is comeplete. things like inquiries about jobs in Canada, furthering education, letters from friends and family stating they know of your intention to move, letter from family saying you can stay with them until you get on your feet, quotes for shipping your belongings to Canada, quotes from a realtor inqurying about rentals or purchase of a home... anything that will show your intent to relocate... below are the forms... Good Luck
