I want to sponsor my spouse and my son. I would probably qualify for skilled professional. However, my husband lives in Colombia, South America and I live in the US with our son. My son and I are US citizens and my husband is a Colombian Citizen. We married in the US but he had to go back to Colombia.

How do I get my family together in Canada?
How would we have to enter Canada--together or separate?
Can I go first from the US and then apply for him or is it better for us to come together from Colombia?

If you come in on a temporary work permit, you can list your son and husband as coming with you as well as apply for an open work permit for your husband. He can arrive with you or later. If you apply directly for PR as a skilled worker, you can also apply for your husband as well at the same time but it could cause a problem that he is not living in the same country since your file needs to be processed somewhere. I would ask the visa office how to work that out.
