We have struggled with MIFI. Their first issue contradicted the instructions, but ofc we'll do whatever they need. The second issue was our mistake on a question. And working only in paper with the Canada Post backed up is not ideal. But hopefully everything is order and will be sorted soon!

By current processing estimates from the IRCC, the SOWP would've been finished in December. I send in a webmail about being over processing estimates and they replied with an email that serves as an interim work permit extension, but it was an initial work permit app, not an extension, so doesn't do much for us. I'm curious if they're waiting on Quebec tbh, even though officially you don't need your CSQ for the work permit.

It’s been 24 months for my spouses application. She has moved here on a open work permit for the last 1.5yrs

Is there any way to send a corrected form instead of waiting for it to be sent back rejected first? We found an error when uploading to the IRCC, and I'm losing my mind at the idea of this adding 2... 4... 6 months to our application time.

Hi, does anyone have any update on their Outland Québec spousal sponsorships? Any coprs?
It’s been 24 months for my spouses application. She has moved here on a open work permit for the last 1.5yrs

No progress on mine since I received the CSQ last August. I have a work permit for 2 years too and still stuck in background check since I originally submitted my application a year ago (28 Feb). Everything else is completed so not sure why the excessive delay. My case wasn't complicated. Does your spouse have the CSQ yet?

Is everyone else experiencing extreme mail delays? My last correspondence came two weeks after the date on it (which was better than the early January letter we didn't get till Feb). I know the strike had a big backlog, but talking to the post office recently they said that things are back on track (and if you're haven't received something you were expecting it might have been lost.) It's making me feel like MIFI establishes the correspondence in their system, but it doesn't end up getting sent out until much later. I literally live a few blocks from the place, so it's local mail. Their approach is more than a little frustrating. I don't know whether it's inefficiency, a lackadaisical approach, or both.

Once it got there (we sent registered mail) it looks like it was exactly two weeks (14 days, 10 business days)
