We are doing a spousal sponsorship in Canada and went to Black's at the mall to take photos. They put a stamp on the back with room for a signature, but I don't see anything about signing the photos in Appendix C. Does anyone know if we have to sign the backs of the photos?

On the backs of my wife and step sons photos I had to write their names, birthdays, and the date the photos were taken. This was for a Russian application package, your application package will tell you what you need to do.

You need to follow the instructions according to your visa office. Mine requested only name&surname!

We're applying in Canada, and it looks like there is no requirement to write anything.

Yes doesn't look like there is a requirement for anything on the back.
