Hehehe kung pwede lang sis eh! Kaso unpredictable pa rin si cem, minsan mabilis magbalik ng pp,minsan sobrang tagal.. I hope hindi na umabot ng 1 month after DM ang passport ko sa knila.. :)

Kamusta ang Canada sis? :)

The trend right now is more the 2 weeks. Issue date on the visa was April 4, 2015 and we didn't get it until April 28, 2015. Just be patient :)

Hi guys, i have not seen any threads like mine in the forums.
They are asking me to fill-in Appendix A (which i did and submitted) but passport has not to be submitted just yet.
Anybody here received the same?

My wife is sponsoring me, she submitted our apps in Mississauga then was later forwarded to Manila office.
I've been working in Dubai - even in our apps i clearly mentioned that i am currently working/residing here from 2007 till date.
That's my second question, they should have forwarded our apps in Abu Dhabi instead. Is it a case to case basis?
Anyways, that is not an issue anymore.. we are still thankful that our apps has been received and is under process.

Here is our timeline:

Jan. 28 - apps received by CIC
Mar. 30 - Decision Made (Sponsorship)
Status from e-cas ("Decision Made" details as below)
1. We received your application to sponsor (my name) on January 28, 2015.
2. We started processing your application on March 26, 2015.
3. We sent you a letter on March 30, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Apr. 8 - received an email stating that a file has been created/application received in Manila... asking for Appendix A in order to proceed, as posted above)
Status from e-cas ("Application Received" details as below)
1. We received (my name) application for permanent residence on January 28, 2015.
2. Medical results have been received.
May 3 - duly filled "Appendix A" forwarded to Manila through DHL (i have included photographs as well, as the email attachment has the Appendix B - Photograph Specification)
May 5 - i got notification from DHL Tracking Service that my package has been received, Signed for by: SG BERONA FR

Praying to receive "real" passport request in their next email.
I plan to give my Resignation Letter from office once i got the pport request from the Visa Office.
I hope it won't take that long.

Got thoughts or similar story? Please share.

Salamat po.
God Bless.

Manila is known to ask for such information at the beginning of their processing. They will even ask sometimes for the passport!
When you get your PPR do not resign your employment until your VISA is in hand, CEM is also known to hold passports for awhile before sending them back.

Chris.

Thanks Chris.
You're right, i have to wait for my VISA then.
Got any idea on how long should it take from my current stage to getting my visa stamped?
My wife is pregnant, and she's due on July month-end.

All applications are processed as individual applications and time wise there are not set times, A lot of it is dependent on the Visa officers processing it and how complete the application is.
