Spousal Sponsorship - PHILIPPINES ( TIMELINE: starting July 2014)

hi there. i guess many of you are in waiting period na. ask ko lang sana... how long have your spouses (sponsors) been employed before you submit your appplication (for sponsorship)? kakasimula ko pa lang kasi sa work ko dito sa alberta last month. excited na ko makuha si hubby and our kid.

Hmmm good question, kasi mang hingi sila nung T4 mo (Annual Salary) required cia sa application. So idk, prob at least a year? Pero parang wala naman akong nakitang required period na nag wowork ka haha. Call mo nalang po CiC

Hi! Ako po mga 9 months pa lang employed nung nagfile, pero naapprove naman as sponsor. Wala naman po exact amount of time na required, basta hindi kayo on welfare and siguro pag nakapagfile na kayo ng tax kasi requirement yung option c printout galing sa CRA. Kung ok na kayo don, pwede niyo na file kahit kakastart niyo lang magwork.

Hi guys, I know i don't belong in this group since I'm an April applicant under spousal visa application. But as I 've read your posts and comments I would like to share my experience of waiting for SA. We sent our application via Loomis, we don't have any idea if the CPC-M received our application only via Loomis tracking. 2 1/2 mos. has passed (thinking of 55 working days for the sponsor to be approved) we decided to check again the tracking history and we found out that the postal code which is of Brampton is different from the CPC-M code. I got worried thinking that I have lost my documents which took me almost a month to consolidate. We decided to call the CPC-M and found out that they received our application April 3,2014 and and my husband was approved since May 29,2014. Last week of July we found out that our documents was already sent here in the Philippines. 1st week of August passport was requested and In process last week of Aug. Now still waiting for DM.

Error: We put the wrong email add of my husband on IMM1344, reason why he didn't received the sponsor's approval on time.

Double check your's, it maybe one factor why it took so much time to get your SA, if not then ask your Sponsor to get in touch with CPC-m as soon as possible.

Hi po. Sorry if medyo off topic.

Ask lang po if kailangan po ba sundin talaga yung 10 days marriage banns posting before you could get married? Kasi my boyfriend (Filipino) is a permanent resident in Canada and we are planning to get married (civil lang) when he comes home this December. He'll arrive Dec 19. Alis na sya uli ng January 3 balik Canada. He'll be staying here sa PH for 16 days lang. His stay here is limited kasi he has work there.

Problem namin ang daming holidays this december. So working days here are limited.

I would just like to ask kung meron na ba dito couple na hindi sumunod sa 10 days posting? Kasi dba you have to wait for 10 days para ma-release ang marriage license nyo then saka lang kayo pwde magpakasal. I've read na pwde ma-rush ito with the help of fixers. Pero ayoko kasi magpatulong sa fixers as much as possible.

Let's say, if we wont follow the 10 days posting rule, will this be traced by the Canadian Embassy pag nag apply na kami for sponsorship? Baka kasi ma-apektohan ang sponsorship application namin if they trace any irregularities in our civil wedding. I know they'll look at my boyfriend's passport to know kung tugma ang point of entry sa dates ng pagprocess ng marriage license, etc.

And yung 10 days posting, included ba sa bilang ang weekends? Or should it be 10 WORKING days (mon-fri)?

Hope you guys can help me. As much as possible gusto ko talaga dumaan sa tamang proseso.

I've researched na pero iba-iba ang nakikita kong sagot. Baka meron nang couples dito sa forum who've had a similar situation as ours.

Hi sis happilee! I went through almost the exact same thing last May nung nagpakasal kami ni hubby. Ako po yung sponsor, PR ako ngayon sa Canada. 3 weeks lang nakuha kong leave sa office kaya nagmamadali rin kami magpakasal agad paguwi ko. Nagpunta si hubby sa city hall at may nagprisinta na fixer na sabi kaya mailakad yung license para makuha by yung date na gusto namin na less than yung 10 days required. Nakabook na kasi kami ng honeymoon kaya pinagpilitan namin. Marami rin kami nilapitan na kakilala para lang matuloy pero eventually may uncle kami na nagintervene dun sa fixer na nakitang dadayiin pala yung dates at kung di niya pinigilan mapeperahan na kami, baka maging invalid at illegal pa yung license. Sobrang gulo at sakit sa ulo. Mas malaking problema pa yan pag sinubmit sa embassy at makita na may mali. So ang ending sinunod din namin ang process, antayin niyo talaga yung 10 days. Nauna tuloy ang honeymoon namin bago yung wedding. Nakakalungkot lang talaga sana mas mahaba time niyo magkasama. Pero at least maayos at legal lahat kaya wala nang alalahanin na issues sa application.
