because i have send the correspondence to embassy last month . and my 2nd medicle is going to expire in jan 2017
sir my case is in process from 2012 please answer.

Does it matter if we send documents from Canada or Pakistan ?

No it does not matter who sends the documents as long as they are sent to accurate address within the time period.
LVO recently sent additional doc request to my wife asking "Proof of Communication" after the application was submitted. i sent the proof of communication instead of my wife. and they accepted without any issue. they just need the documents, does not matter who sends them.

my wife sponsor me to Canada in 2012. and it is now almost 5 years to complete, of my case. the status is showing [inprocess].recently i have send correspondence to embassy of Canada in Islamabad Pakistan.my medical is going to expire in January 2017. i have heard that after sending correspondence their is security check and after this passport request from embassy.

this is my 1st marriage. and it is the 2nd marriage of my wife.her divorce took place in Canada in 2009.
and she sponsor to me in 2012.now we have 3 children's from that marriage.my wife and children are born in Canada.

can you please tell that how long does it take to get passport request from embassy
i hope you understand my question.

Only your MP can give you an up to the minute Status Update on your application. You can order GCMS notes to find out what concerns the visa officer has about your case. MyCIC access will also give you an idea about your current case status. Contact London Visa office via email and see if your application has been transferred there or is still in Islamabad, at LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca.

hi,just want to ask that im canadian citizan,i've 4 children 2 are canadian & 2 are not canadian so im sponsoring my wife & 2 kids.

my wife just received email from london visa office for additional documents,my children birth certificates & proof that currently i live in canada. i gathered all the documents but....... i m confused

SHOULD I SEND THEM DOCUMENTS FROM CANADA???? OR SHOULD I FIRST SEND IT TO PAKISTAN THEN MY WIFE SEND IT TO LONDON VISA OFFICE????

Send them from anywhere. Since you are probably sending copies of the 2 Pakistan born children's birth certificates, send them ministry of foreign affairs attested copies. Also send LVO your latest family registration certificate FRC to show your entire family unit.

Can anybody please guide me during the passport submission step? My wife recently got her PPR, she lives in Lahore.
1. If I am not mistaken I read somewhere that VFS requires you to get your "Permanent Resident Photographs" taken at their office. Should she get pictures taken outside or at their office?
2. "One copy of this letter, including the Updated Information Chart in Appendix A". I am unable to fill this chart through computer. Can it be filled using pen or does it have to be typed out?

I believe only the Islamabad office has photo taking facility. You can go to any photographer and tell them to follow these instructions http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf

You can fill out Appendix A by pen, only the names and info of sponsored persons. The updated info filled out in Appendix A will show up on your COPR.

I dont know if it is important or strong. But is another change you make to show your married and adds some more support to the documents.

In IMM5490 (Sponsored spouse questionnaire), question 15 asks the following question:
Was there a formal ceremony to recognize/celebrate the marriage? (If yes, provide details on date, location and number of attendees.Indicate if your sponsor, sponsor's family and your family members/relatives attended and if not then why not. Specify the rite (religion) in which the marriage was performed and to what religion you and your spouse belong to. if insufficient space, use a seperate sheet of paper)

This is pretty much the same for q 14 (asking about engagement) and 18 (asking about reception)
my question is that in the answer do i give the details about the events that happened on these three days or just answer what they are specifically asking? What i was thinking of doing was to give an event report in which i tell everything that happened during all the days. But in the question they are only asking about number of attendees and other stuff.
