Got my COPR AND PP today.. They extended my meds to 1yr as my meds expired on sept 15 but didnt got any remeds... So yeah! they can extend your visa expiry/meds to one yr without asking for remeds in some cases..

Congrats. Out of curiosity is COPR in a sealed envelop or you can read it through.

it's just a visa that they paste into the applicant's passport.

I really need some help here.... In regards to providing proof of setteling back in Canada when my wife gets PR.

1) I cant get a Job letter because I am living in Pakistan with my wife. So that is out of the picture.

2) My Family owns a house, I.can get a letter from my Parents stating that they are willing to acommodate us.

3) Cant get a University letter, because I am already done with School.

4) Proof of Sufficent Savings to provide for my Wife and I. Dont you guys think CIC will raise an objection that you werent in Canada, how did you get this money?

If any of the Senior members can help me regarding what proof I should provide.

Anyone Please with a detailed answer. Realllyy Confused. I consulted a lawyer before filing my application and he said that Sponsoring while living with your wife is fine and is no problem. ???

no one can really say whether CIC will create an issue out of this. things vary by case and visa officer.

my suggestion would be to do the best you can for now, and if your proof is insufficient, they'll ask you for more later on in the process.

Already applied on basis of Nikkah and now I want to voluntarily send additional documents to LVO to update them on Rukhsati and Valima. Can anyone provide a London Visa Office mailing address for sending these additional docs?

Yes i did but certificates are expired thats why i think they requested again...

The heck! Why are they asking these things in stages? Not all together?

Because they asked for the updated one as far as i have researched after we submit our remedical they start security and criminality review which is final stage of PR process. Till that time which is now a year the certificates are expired.

salam to all. i have two question regarding my status.
first of all gckey status showing medical Passed. does it mean there will be no remedical request, as my medical is going to expire on 15 december 2016.
secondly, how much time does it take for background check, as my gckey status showing background check in progress.
kindly give ur nice opinions. thanks.
