oh by the way i've been meaning to ask, did you go to your MP and see if they can help out with your missing nikkah nama? i've heard cases where LVO was able to locate missing docs after getting a call from the applicant's local MP. i'm wondering if your MP can help you in the same way.

No, the last time I talked to my MP was when I received the PFL and they actually called me on my personal line to explain to me what I should be doing and how I should respond. Also, they wanted me to send them a copy of the documents I was couriering to LVO, so that they can make sure to have an internal officer add it to my file. At the end of our conversation, MP told me to reach out to them in few months ( :'() to check on the status.

what did they say when you told them that you had already sent them your original urdu nikkah nama? also, check the "notes" section of your gcms notes (should be the last few pages) and read the text written by the officers at cpc-m. do any of the notes say that a marriage certificate was submitted as proof of relationship?

Got additional documents request again this time they asked updated background declaration form and updated police certificates one from pak and one from uae...

MP didn't really talk about the missing Nikkah nama. They were more worried about answering properly and addressing the concern. So they made sure that I was submitting everything they asked for. However, in the cover letter, I made sure to mention that the Nikkah Nama along with my baby's birth certificate was submitted in the application package.

It says "SPR has submitted Marriage Certificate Application locked in"

I really need some help here.... In regards to providing proof of setteling back in Canada when my wife gets PR.

1) I cant get a Job letter because I am living in Pakistan with my wife. So that is out of the picture.

2) My Family owns a house, I.can get a letter from my Parents stating that they are willing to acommodate us.

3) Cant get a University letter, because I am already done with School.

4) Proof of Sufficent Savings to provide for my Wife and I. Dont you guys think CIC will raise an objection that you werent in Canada, how did you get this money?

If any of the Senior members can help me regarding what proof I should provide.

Anyone Please with a detailed answer. Realllyy Confused. I consulted a lawyer before filing my application and he said that Sponsoring while living with your wife is fine and is no problem. ???

Got my COPR AND PP today.. They extended my meds to 1yr as my meds expired on sept 15 but didnt got any remeds... So yeah! they can extend your visa expiry/meds to one yr without asking for remeds in some cases..
