Hello my pakistani brothers i need some help i am canadian citizen and i got married in pakistan and i have two kids from my pakistani wife they were born after i become canadian citizen but i have not applied for any proof of canadian citizenship for my children as they both are canadian citizen according to canadian law. Now my question is i have to sponsor my wife under the family program so do i have to mention the name of my children in the application for permanent resident or not as the it is written in the application form that you have to mention all the dependent children who are not already canadian citizen but my children are canadian citizen though i have not applied for any proof of citizenship so is it mandatory to mention their names or just leave it..

thanks

Mycic will be more detailed
And they'll provide you info on monthly basis about your file progress
Plus they'll have a message system so you'll be fully informed about what's happening with your file.
Thanks for the clarification.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

hi guys,
I need some help with a question in regards to Travel document issuance from Islamabad. I was not sure where to post this question.
My wife is in Karachi, Pakistan right now and she needs to apply for a travel document from Islamabad because there is some issue with getting her PR card because of the Canada Post strike. My question is that can we go to Islamabad office DIRECTLY to obtain a travel document the same day or do we have to send her passport through mail from Karachi to Islamabad and then wait to receive it back?
Secondly, how long is it taking for Islamabad office to issue travel documents? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Thanks for answering my previous batch of questions. I have a couple of more questions :D :

- Is it necessary to show pictures of quran over head during the rukhsati?
- Is it necessary to have a mehndi/mayon rasm? If we dont have one, or only the bride has the rasm without the groom, will that be ok?

Thanks again.

No, it's not necessary to show such pictures

Yes, it's good to have such ceremonies but, again it is not necessary that you both attend the same ceremony. My suggestion is you must have bride mehndi rasam. But don't forget to take pictures of this Mehndi.

I am on the final stages of filling out my application. I was just wondering, the supplementary information forms are only available in PDF that can not be edited. Is it okay to fill this out by hand?

Please advise.

If you have full version of Adobe Acrobat, you can fill out the form on computer as well, but yeah hand written is acceptable too.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hi there, I just received my gcms notes, and it states,
" an original upfront medical report form (IMM1017B UPFRONT) signed by a panel physician or an E-Medical upfront medical notification information sheet has not been provided. ''

My husband already got his medical done, three days before submitting the file. It was an upfront examination. What exactly are they asking for? Did I mess up somewhere?
