GIK...just want to ask this question. ....I hired lawyer so if re medical for next step will I see update on cic website as well or as usual my lawyer will call me or email me. So do they just email you or they do both update and email ?

Application filed in Dec 2014,
Upfront Medical in Sep 2014,
ECAS updated today as "In Process"

I have a question , how many of people from this forum went for a lawyer in Canada ,and who they are ? Cause I have feeling that sometimes ( only some of them) they don't present our case right way so we go through difficulties. If we face ( Khudanakhusta) refusal, they get a case.....so Canadian sponsors should cooperate to save each an other . Just comment if you are satisfied or not satisfied......with your lawyer.

i don't think they represent your case with wrong intentions but sometimes good cover letters etc do cover certain weak points and good ultimately expensive lawyers do write all cover letters and recommend everything that might make your file look good but cheap hence not so professional lawyers(consultants) don't do the extended work that file needs.

My medical expired one year ago so i will not get extension n will definately get a remedical request,i have already sent the proof lets see what happens. Remember me in prayers

My thoughts on Lawyers for Immigration are useless as it doesn't speed up your case in the least. Its a basic application why spend in on a lawyer. I would say you need one if your case gets refused, then you need one but just to file an application for Immigrating to Canada is a waste of good money in my opinion...... Only Allah knows better ..............

Lawyer are a waste of money according to me. I didnt apply through a lawyer but know a few people who have. The lawyer didnt have them send original nikahnama, didnt send rprf fee and a few other things. This person sent their application in june and just recieved re med. 2 months ago recieved nikahnama request and 1 month ago got request to pay rprf fee. This caused unnecessary delays in the application, because of the lawyer. So yea i think its pointless

I ordered notes in oct 2014.. My husband visited me in april 2015 so i voluntarily sent proof in 1st week of May 2015.

thank you so much actually i already submitted long explanation letter from my self as i am sponsor i have my mother house in Toronto and we will initially lives there after my husband PR. But i am also planning to move before my husband PR and reestablished things there. so as per your experience it is a good sign to move alone before husband PR and established things there which will be more stronger proof.

Certainly, make sure to provide proofs to LVO
