My status changed on ECAS today to Decision Made

Below are the specifics of my wife's case:

Medicals Done: July 15, 2015
Application Filed: August 18, 2015
Acknowledgement received: September 26, 2015
Sponsor Approval/File Transfer: October 30
***Additional Docs Request: March 01, 2016
Additional Docs Delivered: March 10, 2016
Additional Docs Email acknowledgement: April 01, 2016
Decision Made: April 08, 2016
Passport Request: Insha Allah soon.
Visa Issued: Insha Allah soon
Landed: Insha Allah soon.
Citizenship: Insha Allah after 3.5 years after Trudeau changes the law.

*** Additional docs = Urdu Nikah Nama with English translation and proof that Rukhsati and Walima was celebrated.

Allah ka lakh lakh shukar hay keh decision made ho gaya.

It took almost 9 months from the time of filing the Application to Decision Made.

llo everyone...

Just had a question regarding the processing time for Spousal visa from pakistan. I am Sponsoring my wife while I am living with her in pakistan and i am currently in the midst of a business project here. I want her to come to Canada exactly 2 years from now because i ll be done with my project in 2 years and I want to go with her back to canada. Now the question is..Should I send her application now or wait for another few months? I dont want ber getting her arrival date in canada before I finsih my project here in pakistan. So any advice that when should I apply so she gets her Visa and arrival date about 2 years from now?

2) For instance if she gets her Visa before I am done with my project, is there a way I could request more time for her to arrive im Canada? Thanks!

and I am a Canadian born Citizen.

Nobody has a perfect knowledge about the processing times. it always changes. last year it was 2 years.from jan 2015 to may 2015 it decreased to 6-9 months and after may its now taking around 8-11 months. so no one knows what will be the processing time by the end of this year. if the processing times remained the same as it is than you better apply by the end of next year.
