Wow June/July 2015 applicants are being processed very quickly, and so far I have seen one May applicant receiving DM status as well... congrats to all!

I just logged on to check my wife's application status, applied back in May, 2015. So now the application process has been updated as of Nov 6, 2015 (previous update was Oct 2, 2015) The status still shows In Process

Any other May, 2015 applicant with similar situation?

Following is my timeline:
Application Received: May 4, 2015
Application started processing: May 29, 2015
Sponsorship eligibility confirmation sent: June 30, 2015
Application forwarded to LVO for processing: July 13, 2015
Medical results: upfront

i sent the passport on Nov 13, 2015. Please can anyone tell me why is Islamabad taking a long time. Why are they so slow. Did anyone got visa this month? how long does it take for Islamabad to give the visa?

It seems Islamabad is being especially slow in November. I only see one person on the spreadsheet who received their COPR this month.

i have a question if anyone can answer will be appreciated

what amount or weight of gold can someone travel with?
do we have to provide purchase receipts?

if someone has 20-30 tola gold can we go througt easily from the immgration ?

I asked this question from the custom officers at the Khi airport last month on my way coming to Canada. What they said was that as long as the gold is in the jewelry form, there's absolutely no limit to carry it in the hand baggage. They did not specify any limit (so I guess it does not matter). What they did mention was that it MUST NOT in the form of Gold biscuit cz it's strictly prohibited.. PIA staff also confirmed that the jewelry MUST not be in the checked-in baggage (who wants to check in the baggae full of jewelry any way!!)..

My wife sent her pp at 29th October but still waiting for the COPR and Visa.. Do not know why things are too slow in this country...

We have been waiting too....they told my husband 2 wks...was anyone else told this timing and was complete within 2 wks, if so??

They told my wife two weeks as well but now almost four weeks completing and still nothing... Do not know what is causing the delay...

Yes I landed last month, they didn't ask anything just where I'll be staying and if I have any medical issues. It was all basic stuff, just show your COPR and passport and you are free to go.
