My husband finally arrived on November 5 The landing process was very smooth and easy for him. The immigration officer only asked him our marriage date and just told him pr will arrive in 4 to 6 weeks.We also made his SIN number and health card number. It was very easy and just took one day. For those of you coming soon, don't worry about immigration officer they don't ask that many questions! Good luck everyone!Hope everyone gets ppr soon who are still waiting

Congratz mashaAllah !! .. good move to make SIN and health card at earliest but I guess health card will not become valid before he completes 3 months in Canada.

Alhamdulilah, COPR and passport back with visa on 5th nov. Still didn't receive original documents back.

As for as the question concerned that i asked many times on forum about landing province I think he will have to land in province from where i sponsored him because its mentioned on COPR
the city of destination: montreal
and province of destination: quebec
So i guess he will have to land in quebec.

When you go for upfront medical, they will give you UMI number which you need to write there.

You haven't been assigned a file number so you leave it blank.

Is it GCMS notes or FOSS notes?

I received my PR card 2 years ago but I have moved to Canada at the end of September 2015. I have not finalized a job for the time being. I have prepared a file to Sponsor my wife.
I don't know what to do for the following question.
IMM5491E--> Number 17--> An original "Option C Printout" of your and your co signer's last notice of assessment for the most recent taxation year.
I don't have any cosigner and at the moment I have not worked in Canada.
What should I do for option C Printout?

Your sponsor should be able to apply easily, it's on CIC website:
https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/

You will need to file tax return for 2015 in beginning of 2016. (even if you don't work still need to file them) and then you will be able to obtain tax assessment as well as option-C.
You can attach a letter indicating reason why you can't provide tax papers and that you will provide them later.

Write an explanation letter that you haven't filed your tax so far and that's why you are unable to provide "option c print out". It worked for me.

Hi,

I need your advice if you can answer. I sponsored my wife who been divorced before. Her divorced certificate has same date for notice of divorce and effectiveness of divorce, VO has concern why these dates are same so put her in interview. The mistake was done by union council in Pakistan and we did not noticed before.Should we wait for interview or explain in letter? I ordered notes and came to know through that. Her eligibility will be confirmed after clarify that divorced certificate.

Please advise!!!!
