Does anyone know if you reply to doc request by email , if the email only is acceptable and CIC will continue processing and accept the email until docs arrive by post? Or do they need to physically receive the documents by post to continue to process file?
Also do they acknowledge the email received to let you know they got the docs?

It would be better to do both, I sent an email and a courier. In the email I included the tracking number of the courier all went fine they replied in like a week.

depends on what they ask you for. IF they are only asking for information or pictures, then you can simply reply to the email!!
however if they ask you for a police report then you must mail (post) it as they require the original document.

Over 2 weeks now since DM on Oct 14, but no PPR yet :'( There's nothing we can do though, Ugh i hate this!!

Hi Andrew,

i just figured it out as you and Micky are managing timelines that are not sync with each other, ideally, it should be one spreadsheet that needs to be maintained, can you please sort this out with Micky and merge it in one sheet or otherwise, all members will have to get their timeline updated with you and you wouldn't have there previous data and same will go with the spread sheet maintained by Micky and will create confusion.

welcome back, i am neither old and nor very new to this forum, Hope everyone gets there decision made quickly and can meet there family/Spouse. you guys are doing an awesome job, that gives us hope, GOD bless you. BTW I am October 2014 applicant and my timeline is maintained by micky.

Salaam everyone,

I have a question about the Re-Med.

My husband in Pakistan received a re-med request today. It is a great news, but, I am little puzzled with their request.
Following is what they are asking for;

In order to provide your application with an updated validity we require following additional medical examination(s) for your self and your spouse.
Chest Xray
Complete Medical report chest x-ray requisition and report form (page 5 and 6 of IMM5419)
Duly completed Re-assessment Form

When we submitted the application in October 2014, my husband had the medical, but now they are asking for "your self and your spouse". Is this something new?

I live in Canada. Do I have to do the medical too. I am confused. Can someone please help me out.

I agree with you on this. The London spreadsheet was there for very long time and it tracked applicants from Pakistan and European countries. I think we should track them all in one under London. It will help us understand how is London moving overall for everyone.

Guys,

Wanted to know if anyone just received their and their spouses birth certificate in mail. I did not receive any other original documents such as Marriage certificate, police certificate pictures...

I dont even know if this is a good sign or not.

I am a bit annoyed by lack of transparency by LVO about application as we cannot set proper expectations. Looks like judging from others timeline is not really a good approach as well as the decisions are all over the place.

I have ordered notes but still 18 days after from receiving notes.

For those who received their originals back, are we expected to get our whole application package (chats logs, pictures, originals documents) back excluding the forms.

My wife had her DM on 28-Sep and received a notice on 12-Oct to collect her PP.
But she has not received her original documents and wondering if other people are in the same situation?

The originals are mailed out to the Sponsor. Have you had someone check for you in Canada? If not, then you will need to follow up and ensure that you receive them back.

The originals are mailed out to the Sponsor. Have you had someone check for you in Canada? If not, then you will need to follow up and ensure that you receive them back.

We will be leaving back to Toronto on 25-Dec. I have not heard any news of original documents being received in Canada even though my parents are home.
