I just checked my spouse status on ECAS and it says "In Process". I was thinking of sending my recent visit to Pakistan pics to them. Do you think its a good idea if I do that now since its in process or should I wait?

Please Advice.

As the Indian backlog had done by LVO, so they have more time to look into Pak backlog and recent files more easily, that's also a possible point in recent quickly done processes. There may be many other factors too, but I have been following the same pattern, since sept 2014 files, the pak apps are getting faster than older apps. I feel that tempo would continue, its just not the elections, but may be the way people were crying all over the social media against the so called policies of immigration by the CP. So I am optimistic that our file will be done in 9-12 months than the 40-50 months long process.

Hi there! yes this can also be the factor as lesser the backlog faster will be the process for recent applicants. But I think that immigration policies of Canada or any country least bother what social media uproar is on their policy, as they have their own reasons for imposing hard regulations and procedures which suits them best.
I've gone through your Database Sheet it is very useful especially Q&A section it really helps a lot for preparation in upcoming interview.

Wanna share my timeline i recently applied for my wife on 7th july 2015,I am a Canadian Citizen.
Today i have received the documents to pay the fee for Quebec Selection Certificate.
Hope everything go well will finalize that soon inshALLAH!!

i need to share that my permanent residence status shows decision made (i dunno since when i just checked). my app was filed in feb 2015 and file transferred to LVO in april 2015. i cant believe my eyes and am not sure whats the next step. can anyone please suggest what to expect next ?? am really worried.
