Take a break off the forum, constantly checking on here to see if anyone got updates is not good, I’ve done it... the truth is.. there’s only the same 20-30 maybe 40 people on here replying with their updates because Just like me, their anxious as well to know what’s going on and to see if there’s others in the same situation. Don’t depend on this completely... its far from the truth. Someone I know got dm 2 weeks after ADR before covid (last year) but ofcourse now it’s different but still be hopeful

Exactly, I come here once every 1 or 2 weeks now, It started getting a bit too much after consistently seeing this forum with everyone waiting endlessly. I found that putting it aside for a few weeks helped me get the rest of life in order much more efficiently compared to recent months. It's best to leave this forum for serious updates only and then come check it every 2 to 3 weeks. Focusing on other things helps me keep my mind off this.

My husband submitted the same day at Lahore Vfs. Recent notification from VFS on Thursday was that it's been received by IRCC and is in process. I am guessing at the end of next week?
Please post here when your wife gets it back

I have been asked to submit updated Schedule A form.
I am trying to fill Schedule A form but the number of rows under "personal history" section are not enough. I don't see an option to add more pages to that form [since its secured], how can I provide more information ?
The cic account section only has 1 upload option.

Also whats the easiest way to get a police certificate from Lahore ?

You can write the additional information in a word document and then save that document as PDF or if you can't save it as pdf then convert it online as PDF
Then come to this website: https://jpg2pdf.com/ and press the combine pdf button and add these 2 files together as one.

Hi All,

I have read many messages here mentioning reasons for delayed processing. I dont think that it has anything to do with the relationship check, background or any other check or clearance.

Treatment and timeline varies based on VO and visa category

- LVO just finished my express entry in less than 6 months while now for my Jun19 inland child sponsorship, file was transferred to LVO and recently got an update Decision Made and no COPR yet after 2 weeks.

- Another person from Turkey similar case like mine applied for her child in Jul 19 and got the PR cardin October 19 in just 3 months. Case was processed in Canada.

- Dec 19 Philipine applicants were getting their PPRs few weeks back, check the group

LVO is the slowest among all for processing of sponsorship applications and better to raise this issue on appropriate forums and mention the comparison with other visa offices to highlight the issue.

What relationship check is needed for a child born in Dubai to have this much delay while the case of turkish child born in Dubai processed in just 3 months.

Relationship and background checks can definitely delay the process. We’ve seen that many times here, but you are correct that they are not the only things. They are only two examples. And you are correct that Visa office does play a role.

NDVO was notoriously slow even before Covid, and now with India as number 2 on the list for most Covid cases behind the USA (they’re rapidly catching up) this office has only dig itself even deeper.

Can’t really blame it all on Covid though. They needed a good kick in the bum to get moving even before then. This office definitely needs to be on the radar for implicating measures to speed it up.

We received the same response on Thursday. Hopefully they stamp it on Monday and send it back. I know people wrote on this group that they received passport back in 3 4 business days. fingers crossed

I don't know about Lahore but for my city Kohat, My brother in law did some stamping in courts then our district ASP signed it and that's it
