i received aor2 on nov 19 and after that i have'nt heard anything from LVO.. ecas status showing in process.. its been 14 months 14 days since they received my application and its been 9 months and 1 day since ecas showing that LVO started working on your file... they started working on our application in nov and lock down started in mid march they had 4 months but we didnt hear anything from them in those almost 5 months..i am going through depression... feeling helpless.. i dont know how long will they take to process our simple application.

Don't expect anything from them if it takes 4 years for me then you can see how long they can drap but i hope and pray you don't go thru the same..

i am sorry to hear that you had to suffer for 4 long years but not all the cases are same.. i dont know for what reason they dragged your case for 4 years but there's a red flag if they drag your case.. i am not saying you were lying about something but in my case they did not asko for any additional doc or proof of any document because every single doc i have sent is genuine.. so i am 100% sure i will soon hear a good news inshaAllah.. as far as your marriage and docs are original they cant keep you apart...

soo lots of ppl are stuck aftr aor2
at the momnt lvo is finalizing files who got DM/pre-arrivals befr lockdwn.

thats my point... actually i had a fight with my husband last nigh because he doesnt want me to go to any forum because he says it will make you upset. one day i told him that somebody told it took 3,4 years to complete his process and then my husband told me they wont tell people on any forum what they have done wrong in their documents and in their file thats why they suffer for so long.. he was telling my that you dont know people submit fake documents thats why they suffer.. and he was right... if someones everything is real and original they wont make you suffer for this long.

When we had applied in Feb 2019 we were a Nikah-only case. In Dec 2019 they asked for rukhsati pics or reason why rukhsati had not been completed along with updated police certificate and schedule A form. By that time we had completed rukhsati so we just provided 20-30 pictures as proof along with the rest of the documents.

I received a reply from my MP. I request them to inquire about my wife application status

We can provide you with the following details for the applicant about the status of an application to sponsor a spouse living outside Canada:

• The application was received at the Case Processing Centre in Sydney (CPC-S), Nova Scotia, on April 25, 2019.
• The initial assessment to ensure the sponsor meets all the sponsorship requirements was finalized on June 14, 2019.
• The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if the sponsored person (the applicant) meets the eligibility requirements,
  • the assessment for the applicant is still in process at the Canadian visa office in London, U.K..
• The medical examination results have expired for the applicant.
• The criminality verifications are in process.
• The security verifications have not been initiated.
• If the application is approved:
  • the applicant will need to send their passport to the Canadian visa office, and
  • the officer will affix a visa (if applicable) in the applicant’s passport and will issue the confirmation of permanent residence document which the applicant will present at the port of entry in order to be granted the status of permanent resident of Canada.
• If the application is refused:
  • the officer will send the applicant a refusal letter,
  • a copy of the refusal letter will also be sent to the sponsor including:
    • a letter explaining appeal rights,
    • a Notice of Appeal, and
    • instructions to obtain a refund of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee, if it was already paid.

Bhai Aap unse reason mango gy to btayengy na.. you should ask for GCMS notes.. they will tell you then what are the reasons behind this delay in your case.. If you think your all documents and marriage was genuine then you may hire a lawyer for your case there are so many legal remedies you can go for but only if everything was according to the rules and laws.. Bhai I truly wish that your patience will be over soon and you and your wife will be together for sure very soon IA

Are you already got your interview request or not ? Because I spoke to my lawyer last week he said they might not taking any interviews due to that Covid 19 situation
