Fellow members I was wondering what's your opinion regarding this. Are cousins or within relatives marriages less scrutinized and are issued visa faster or is there no difference between family marriages and outside of family marriages. (Family marriage meaning your cousins or father's or mothers sides of the families). I'm just wondering to see what others think if family cases are finished quickly.

How long does it take for PPR now?

Congrats!! Depends from case to case. for me, I got PPR after three days (DM on tuesday and PPR on friday).

ISB office usually takes less than a month to stamp visa. They usually take 2 to 3 weeks. Mine was stamped at Manila office and they take roughly one month to stamp visa. You are almost there. congrats and enjoy!!

Right now my ecas changed to DM. Didnt get the PPR yet but thanks hopefully it will happen soon..

Wow and a month for visa?

Please update the spreadsheet team ... I got my PPR same day as I discovered the DM i-e 24th June 2015... Passport submitted the next day ... Stamped passport received on 13th July 2015.
For all the people who want to know how long does it takes after re medical? It took me 3 and a half months ... But that's also cuz I paid my RPRF with the re medical ... Wishing all of you best of luck for your process ... Hope it comes through fast and soon! In shaa ALLAH !!

We have a within family marriage i dont think it has anything to do with the process they just need proofs that shows its a genuine marriage, that's all.

Guys, I am getting married outside family with canadian citizen girl.

I want to know that what sort of proofs i can submit with my sponsorship application apart from Nikah Paper and Wedding photos and wedding invitation card from both family sides ?

Your input will be highly appreciated

AOA,Dear members hope you all are fine i submit my passport at Islamabad vfs on 24 June and still waiting 1 9days gone but a guy who submit with me same day he get his pp back on 7 July...any idea why mine pp still not come..thanks

When did you send a request? And what date you got the response back from them?
Have you ordered your notes yet? If not then order it today that will give you an idea where your application stands at.

Dear Hafiz, No i didnot order notes. i just send enquiry to CIC LONDON on June 24th and they reply me on July 3rd.

For your further information my re-medical was done in march.

I dont think so that within family or outside family marriage thing effect LVO. they just require authenticity of ur relation , complete up to date information and medical test reports from IMO.

Yes it really depend upon case and visa officer. In my case i got PPR request and after 48 hours of that my ECAS status has changed to decision made. (means i first got PPR)
and i heard now a days they are taking approximately 3-4 weeks to stamp ur visa. My sis has submitted her passport on 6th july and she has not get it back yet.

You have to submit your complete info (all application forms) + Marriage authenticity proofs ( Wedding pics from all functions i.e mehndi, barat, rukhsti and waleema covering large number of guests) +Marriage Hall bill receipt (if u r booking)+ Ur spouse Air ticket copy + Honeymoon or outing pics from different dates and venues & hotel bookings + Invitation cards + Shopping/Gifts/restaurant bills etc
Plus u have to get police certificate and i will suggest u to go for Upfront medical so it will save ur time.
