my file moved to london on july 2014. i applied in may 2014.. i only got the letter... my wife in pakistan .dint get anything.. is it ok? is it with everyone??? i havent heard anything either. let me know.. please.. mine is nikkah only case..

In stage 1: this is the usual process that only sponsor received the communication letter not the applicant.... just sit and be patience and pray.....

Applicants received correspondence in Jan2014 related to re-route of applications actually the files were received or transferred to LVO in feb2014 as per MP office and even if you order your notes you will see this.... but the good news is they are confirming that current processing time is 11months from the date office received the complete application... lets pray and be patience....

Omg so you're saying my 11 months start from feb ? Which means by late dec I should hear something ? Great. I was looking forward to going Boxing Day shopping with the hubby.

well, I still believe the sponsorship for spouse for Pakistani origion (lived in Pakistan and immigrated to Canada) will take 33 months..

Dont worry. I have recieved the same reply except the part where they ask for hard copy.

hi, my spouse got the response to send medical week after i fulfilled their document requirements , its basically a medical request:

"These medical instructions are being issued since your application has been processed to the stage where medical examination results are now required."

then form had instructions ...etc..

the application status on CIC is still "Application Received"... does it mean the file is in processs? as they were not very clear about that...

Question : Does anyone have any idea what happens after this point and what Completion Time line i should expect moving forward. Any help would be appreciated.

hi,

i have applied for spousal sponsorship wife case.


Applied for sponsorship on : July 27th 2013
Response from CIC : August 2nd 2013 application received
CIC response, met requirements, file sent to islamabad : "September 16 2013"
file transfer to london : no email, status is still set to "Application Received"

So i made an enquiry on "September 17 2014" after a year (london visa office time line) with some document updates to help them with further evidence..job update etc... and also asking them about status of the file. London visa office replied with following email asking the hard copy of the documents which i mailed them and they received the documents on "October 14 2014".

London Visa Email :

Dear Sir/Madam,

I write in response to your enquiry, regarding the above noted application.

Please be advised that this application awaits initial review. We are making every effort to process files equitably, and once this application has been reviewed, we will be in contact with the applicant. Unfortunately, it may be several months before we are able to review this application.

Please send us a hard copy of the attachments you included in the last email.

Documents received : october 14th 2014

Medical Request received : October 24th 2014


Current CIC status : Application Received

Urgent help needed

by the grace of allah my wife received passports with visa from islamabad. we also had a son during sponsorship and he was added on to file and his proof of citizenship was applied in Canada. now they have sent passport of my wife with visa but nothing for my son. they sent back his passports empty. no documents no PR docs.
please help what should i do?

i have a question, urgent help is needed,

my wife received her passports with visa. but my son did not get the visa. islambad sent back his passport empty. he is a canadian citizen because of me. i have applied for his poof of citizenship which will take time. but for now he needs to travel with his mom. they did not say anything y they did not stamp his passports nor they endorsed him on mothers passport. my wife only got the visa. he was added onto the file now nothing. this is so irritating. please help what should i do? i need some travel document for my son as well to so they ca get on that plane

@Nike if u r not in Pakistan, and ur wife is in Pakistan, ask ur wife to go to the nearest consulate general of Canada or go to high commission Canada, they will give her the travling papers for the child if that child is ur son(show the birth date of the child and Bay Form with translation if in urdy and Family Registration Certificate) if I believe the visa expires soon, or else ur wife should apply the passport for ur child which takes 2 weeks or even less if u request with ur urgency..
