You should be getting your decision made soon, my cousin was in background check for 8 months as well, then on the 9th month everything was finalized. However, every case varies. So there is no guarantee

We had our interview on November 14 and we passed. Then our BCG started on the 28 of November since then nothing.

December, November, and even October Applicants are getting Passport Requests. (No hard feelings for the ones uniting with their spouses, but It is so frustrating.) People with no red flags are waiting for their BGC to complete. When will this wait get over for people from August and September
