Hi guys i am a permenant resident in canada. I sponsored my wife who is in pakistan. Sent application on 27th june 2014 approved 20th August 2014 application sent to LVO on 20th August 2014. My son was born on 10 october 2014 added him in application on 27 november 2014. My sons medical done on 5 may 2015 my wife re medical done on 12 may 2015. I have applied for TRV for both and it refused. Can anyone tell me how long will i have to wait?

there is only one person named CIC who can tell you exactly how long it will take, rest are all just guessing here, everyone has their own way to figuring out and honestly nothing really adds up.
all i can say is good luck with everything and hope that you can be reunited with your wife and kid soon and be out of this CIC mess( but hey when we are marrying we already know what we are getting ourselves into) so can't really blame CIC either, CIC does what they are capable of and yes they can do a lot
but with having kid i don't see much of an issue, its just the matter of time. g luck, prayers are with you.

Remed was completed 13-Mar-15. Yes eligibility is complete, Ecas i still application received (medical results have been received). Thanks for the link!

I think i confused sponsorship eligibiliy with residence eligibility while going over my notes. Sponsorship eligibility is indicated as passed but i see a note with label 'eligibility' among my notes package which lists a summary of all the proof we provided and it ends with the following line - I have entered review required under eligibility.

After this note, there is a note about the requirement of a remedical, receiving our csq and then the payment of RPRF fee. No note about receiving the remedical result which was done in March. Makes me believe that they havent even concluded our eligibility and we might even be called up for an interview if needed. :/

We got passport request this week for our Nikah case exactly after 12 months. No interview or anything was asked. They didn't even ask for latest police clearance. We filed our case as full marriage with all the evidences we could provide. I suppose this vary from case to case and luck also plays a significant role.

All I can say is good luck for rest of your process.

Simple answer With CIC you can only guess and predict when it comes to time frames .

Secondly they mostly ask remedical after it is expired like around the 11th to 13th month of the first medical, and in some cases they have asked for remedical around 10th month of first medical. It all depends when and on which month of the medical your file gets into hands of a VO.

Thanks for your response. I also wanted to knw will my process be slow because i have added my child. Or will it take the same time as spousal sponsorship. Any clue whats next in my case?

Can you please update the spreadsheet. I went through the forum history and found the following information, so if you can update it people will have a more better idea of where they stand in processing. Below is list of the people whose information is not updated in the spreadsheet.

Angel28 - went in process may 12, 2015
m23khan - got the ppr request on june 2, 2015
pakigirl92 - got the ppr request on may 19, 2015

I only went though half the spreadsheet and was only able to gather there information. I will find more information so you can update some of the other members on the thread as well.

I really appreciate what you have done with the spreadsheet as it really helps someone in this long waiting game. Anyway I will provide you other updates of the spreadsheet later. Keep up the good work.

As far as I know behind the picture there should be the applicant printed name, sign and date of birth.

Should the picture be stamped with the date and studio's name?
I am not sure how is it possible those all things in that little size picture :

It does not have to be stamped you can also get the studio to write everything in pen on the back of the immigration pics. But make sure they are the correct size in length and width. Otherwise the visa office will ask to send the correct specification pics again.

Yes you need all the educational documents that proves she has been studying and while filling the forms you need to fill up the gaps like for example you cant miss summer break of 3 months during school or anywhere else. You have to tell them what you were doing in those months too and if you weren't just write Home.

I am asking for my education Proof do I have to send my my Degree from Universty or transcript . I know I have to send my wife documents from Pakistan. But Do I have to send my education documents from Canada or do I just write number of year completed in Sponor Questionnaire IMM 5540

No, the sponsor does not send his/her educational transcripts/certificates. Just the applicant only.
